How Differently Men And Women See The World
567Kviews
It is no secret that men and women don’t see eye to eye on certain things. I bet most of us have witnessed or even been in one of those situations where a guy thinks he’s complimenting a woman and she takes the compliment for insult…
To make it a bit more clear about how men and women see the world around them differently Alex Distasi and Nomi Kane have created a series of hilariously accurate comics. Created for College Humor, the comics show how men and women see the same situations in different ways. They’re so accurate, both men and women will relate! Check them out below.

I'm not sure this is so much how women "see" the world, as how the world actually is most of the time. x

She will get promoted, cuz clients want to see pretty face and also sexisim. He walks on the street and wonder pizza or chinese food. Condoms prevent diseases. He got only 1 pair of shoes cuz he is paying for all the dates and take the same money as her... :D
I'm just going to assume that you are being ironic, even if the lack of emojis in your post makes it look like you're not.
I actually didn't get the vibe that Aleksandar was discounting the frustrations that women deal with. My impression is just that, although we feel we have to stand up for and protect ourselves (for good reason) in a way that a man doesn't experience, we're thinking about worst case scenarios & injustice. Most of the time, we're not experiencing the worst case. That doesn't remove the fear or frustrations that we have every right to feel, but I think it's good to keep in mind

This guy knows what's up! Also wtf is with that birth control part? Birth control is for the couple, not just for the guy/girl. If the guy gets a free condom, he'll use it with a girl/guy. Y'all need to stop being so melodramatic.
What's BS is how many guys pass on the free condoms (because sex doesn't feel as good for them) and how many women actually go through all the bullshit to get on birth control to include all the side affects and going to the doc.
And can we just take a minute and talk about how men almost never pay for birth control but they expect sometimes for the girl to pay for the condoms as well?
The pill, IUD and cap are also free on the NHS.
The NHS in the UK provides condoms for free. If they weren't free then I would drop any man who expects me to pay for the condoms.
that's not true, at least for me
i have never in my life met a guy who expects the girl to provide the condoms
Even if one is on birth control, the condom is still indispensable. Birth control doesn't prevent diseases. I'm not sure how true that is for everybody, but I've had doctors tell me that if you're having bad side effects from birth control pills, you have to try and get another prescription because the ones you're taking are not right for you, and it's often really trial and error.
But now they make bc pills for men... Will they use it? Of course not!
... is the side effects. Women have suffered strokes, depression, weight gain and suicide thoughts for years but that's reason enough to not
Of course they will!! -- The ones who are not assholes.
Frida, it wasn't the side effects, it was the lack of returning to being virile that worries men. You know being permanently sterile, we've yet to see if any of them have not been made permanently sterile. If they do it is not worth the risk as it's not supposed to be a permanent thing just temp. Men will deal with side effects if they feel they're worth it, but permanent sterility is not okay when they're only wanting temporary stop or partial temp stop to sperm. See where it was a problem?
Well the reason for the pill being "overly dramatized" is visible in the reason why there is yet no male equivalent on the market... which
There are also things called women condoms... so if either of you don't want the pill, you can resort to that. Or the man puts on the condom... it exists so idk why the pill has been so overly dramatized.
...pass the "male pill". Poor men. And stupid women for always being overly dramatic!
lets not pretend that condoms and the pill are the same thing they arnt just like getting a vasectomy is way easier then getting tubes tied male birth control is just easier
I understand it varies from country to country. Here in Portugal, where I live, all I have to do is go to a pharmacy and buy my usual birth control pills - they're free on government subsidized health clinics, but the formulation is different from the one my body is familiar with, so I choose to buy them. In America, I suppose it depends on which state you live.
In Poland You have to go to doctor and ofc you have to pay for it. And ofc not every doctor will give you prescription, cus he/she can refuse due to his/her conscience. The truh is that you have to pay twice for pills, one for doctor (if you'll go private - you will get it) and second for pills. It's sad but it's true.
Just don't have sex with a man who won't wear a condom ESPECIALLY if it goes against your wishes, comfort, beliefs, and impacts your well-being. In fact, you shouldn't even be seeing such a man. Nor should men be seeing a woman who treats him in this way as well. Find someone who actually CARES about your happiness and success in life. Why is this all so hard for people to understand? We should be instilling these sort of beliefs, self-respect, and respect for others at a young age.
Just wanted to add to the man's part of this that I've heard plenty of stories where girls say they are on birth control, but end up having lied. Guys, it's in YOUR best interest, as well as hers, to ALWAYS wear a condom until you are in a close and trusting relationship with good communication.
There was a wonderful ad campaign in the '80s that always ended with the tagline, "No Glove, No Love". It was aimed mostly at young people, both men and women. Sadly, the US has become so prudish that these ads would never be permitted to run now.
Fuck the religious right. They're the big force for being awful prudes in the U.S. and all that does is make kids have bad sex ed, which makes them more likely to get diseases or end up pregnant, which the same politicians don't want to support with any sort of healthcare, abortion or family welfare.
Luckily the UK isn't as prudish. If anything it has become less prudish. It's normal to see non sexual nudity on TV on prime time television now.
Accurate as fuck. The more surreal the more real
This is again one of those men/women-comics that somehow makes me feel less feminine. I don't know if it's just me, or a cultural thing.
Didn't you hear? It's cool to be a victim now, to have something to blame everyone for.
I think it is different where you live and what kind of people you have around you, yes.
It does me as well as I don't fit into the stereotype and don't wish to. I hate books such as 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'. There are arseholes, narcissists and sociopaths of both genders. I'm getting the impression that women are being forced into a kind of hive mind for all women and woe bestow any women who doesn't fit into it. I'm expected to think like all women even ones 20 years older or younger. There are more generational differences than gender differences anyway.
So basically it's always the same penis = everything is handed to him ; vagina= everyone is against you, men are fucking brutal rapists, you are pray of the patriarchy, penis evil vagina good, repeat after me.
All these men vs. women posts are just click bait. After all, everyone feels something about these issues (well, all men and women, maybe the other 50 sexes less so, haha).
If it was, "Stay on the phone please, a is behind me", it would be bigotry, but when it's fear of men, it's rational, isn't it?
If your grandma hasn't asked his grandson when will he deliver her great-gandchild it means she has no fate in him at all.
Elderly relatives have always asked me about school and work which pissed me off greatly once I reached a certain age as they didn't seem to expect me to get married or into a relationship. You only get asked if you're going to have a baby if you are already married and you are only going to be asked when you are going to settle down if you get to a certain age not when you are under twenty.
First date: I dated some crazy ladies. There are female killers New Job: our new female project manager is most experienced in the office and everyone listens to her Style: my wife doesn't wear makeup. eyeliner twice a year maybe. does nothing to her hair. doesn't use perfume. buys dresses because she likes new things. Family: school, work, kids same questions for both of us all the time Traveling: As a man I just love to be followed by strangers Birth Control: there is no free shit. you by both Rūta postina nesamones klaidinančias žmones
Birth control is free on the NHS where I live but otherwise you are right. Both men and women get asked when they are going to settle down and once settled only then get asked when they are going to have a family. Women just get asked at a slightly earlier age then men do.
I don`t know who idiotic woman would waste so much time to make her clothing and make-up perfect. I doubt I`ll ever waste so much time for this shit. Just some deodorant and good clothes are absolutely enough. Of course, if you have time and patience, you can use 1/8 of your day, but personally, I have more important stuff to do.
I mostly don't understand why you'd put so much more effort into it in a date than in any other day. Isn't it better if the guy/girl gets to see what you look like normally instead of a fake version you built specially for the date?
I might have gone through that phrase when I was sixteen but soon grew out of it. There are special occasions like a job interview or graduation where you might worry about every little imperfection though but life's too short to be like this every time you go out.
Sorry I meant phase not phrase.

You don't know any women, do you?
I am a woman and I feel the same. I have more important stuff to worry about
if on your first fucking date your concerned that you might be murdered then heres a tip change where you pick up people, all the woman that i know said the first thing they thought on a first date was "i hope hes not weird"
More like will he pressurise me into have sex or will he be annoying? If people only dated those they knew rather than went on blind dates all the time or pick ups from night clubs then they would be safer.
Yeah, like where did you meet these guys, Craigslist?
Craiglist seems to have a bad reputation. Glad I don't have it where I live.
Other than that, some of these have definately been accurate of my own life experiences. Haha
So true!!!
Several of these where how others see women vs men, rather than how women vs men view the world.
I agree. It's dividing men and women into two extreme and polarised types.
ill fight the robot, you fight the doctor and together using teamwork we can get the free birth control for all.
ok, now add treatement of depression and differentce between male and female suicide, treatement of private body parts by doctors, dont forget to add a picture where everyone celebrates and helps out a young pretty girl no matter that she didnt achieve anything at or even just spent her short life shitting all over everyone and getting a free pussy pass and a regular 20 something guy having to fight the whole world to earn enough money, have a place to stay and then add more of that to even get any attention and emotional gratification which got cut off from him by his own mother once he hit puberty, while being called priviledged. Dont forget to add a picture about a typical low grade jobs men versus women take, one where shes annoyed that she cant be the boss of her local fast food restaurant and one where a guy is cleaning the gutters under the very same place. Dont forget to add the part about lack of reproduction rights for men and lack of any control over it once the deed isdone
you can still give a girl a fucking condom to prevent pregnancy, and a condom isnt a fucking medical substance so of course you need doctors notice and bullshit. Shut the fuck up with this narrative.
Again, birth control in some countries are free! Just have an appointment with your family doctor or nurses and they will give you for free and you do the exactly same process for the condoms.
In _some_, not all.
I don't like it :( or is this a joke and it supposed to be funny? ( @ _ @||) I mean, maybe I'm taking this seriously but not all women are like that and you are making women look like their lives are unfair (?) or bad. Not trying to shame anyone here just saying ( 6 _ 6 )
It is some people's realities, yes.
Yep... let's continue to hate on each other through our differences. #hateeverything2017
So poining out issues/fears in life is the same as hating each other? Interesting..
No but we all have issues to deal with .. women... men.. black...white.. but media wants to dwell so much on negativity rather than looking up solutions and moving forward. Pointing out differences isn't a way of moving forward, it's a finger to point at. Yeah it's a shit show out there, it's how you move on from it which defines you.
Can only relate to 2, my family/workplace is pretty unbiased. The meeting men in the street ones though...
And yet the click bait at the bottom of this website reinforces the "ideal" body (for both male and female) and promotes body shaming and exclusion. Also the beauty standards women follow are a choice. Yes not wearing make up might put you in a disadvantage in a social or work situation but why do you still feel the need to fit into a group of people who judge you by these standards? There are many groups of people (including owners of businesses) who don't indulge in these, without detriment to their happiness, health, or wealth. As a man I choose not to work out and guess what I get along well with girls who also don't prioritize the ideal body shape. Yes I am excluded by women who prioritize fitness but that's not my loss because it's not a common ground I'm missing out on. The fear of strangers and inequality in birth control freebies does suck and should change but this comic does nothing toward offering a method as to how to help create that change.
I agree with your points. Especially with the last idea that if you are an advocate for change, propose a probable solution to the problem. I get that these are just comics and sometimes you need to vent. But I'm seeing a lot of venting online and very little problem-solving.
Sounds mostly like American problems to me tbh.
As well as european.
It sounds like identity politics and misandy to me.
Thank you for clearing up whose fault it is that boobs don’t fit in the dress
The first one just sounds like the thoughts of a paranoid person rather than women in general. The style one sounds like your own fault, to be honest, and if you say "oh, but society's pressure on what women should look like", you don't HAVE to follow that. And the family one just shows that you have an old-fashioned grandmother. Or uh, mother? I can't really tell. Regardless, it doesn't seem like something to get hung up on in comparison to the other things, just be honest and insistent in response, force the conversation away from family-making. As for the last one, U.S. sex ed seems to be shit. It's the religious right's fault. Believe me, I want Trump and Pence and their ilk gone before their time like everyone else.
There are some awfully strange people out there.
all this make me so furious :(
Utter garbage.
well thats one big pile of bullcrap, please stick to funny and not judjmental inaccurate selfpity stuff like that, ty... Well made artwork but the content is very bad...
Sexism against men is real but nobody seems to care."I hope he doesn't murder me"...rly?wtf!Imagine "i hope she is not a gold digging whore".Wouldn't that be also sexist? And what is the thing with the jeans we dont wash?I dont know almost any males who would wear dirty and unwashed jeans.I also pay for my fucking condoms...
These cartoons are not only misandrist but misogynist as well.
The sad truth
Only the extremes of either gender fit into this.
This is the funniest thing I've ever seen
great comic..lets highlight the problems women face in the world by alienating all men and putting the good ones in the same box as the bastards...seems fair
They claim it's humour but to me it's not funny at all. It's just generalising about men and women and the goal is to divide the genders.
I'm from the future....where it's gender fluid ....so I can't relate but interesting illustrations though!
what a bunch of bullcrap
A bit too stereotypical
Is this really how we are supposed to think? Examples: (The first Date) My first thought is not "I hope this person does not murder me" (style) I thought women wore all that because they want to, not have to...I wear jeans t-shirt and work boots, no makeup. (Travel) are we really supposed to be that scared and paranoid about other humans?. I'm no asking this to cause trouble I really want to know, this is not like me or any women in my family :/
My only thought were "I hope he doesn't force me to French kiss him in public, demand I accept a cigarette (most common in the 70's when most people smoked), blow cigarette smoke in my face, drive badly, bore me or annoy me". By the way when I reached 16 when it became legal to buy cigarettes back then I would be under pressure to smoke and research findings had already shown that smoking increased the risk of getting lung cancer and other diseases as well affecting your stamina and general health. No matter what I told them there was the pressure to accept a cigarette so I would end up walking away. By the time I had got to 20 they had given up as people who get to that age without smoking probably won't take it up. They really thought I would want to rebel by smoking yet my parents said that it was OK for me to smoke when I get to 16 as long as I didn't do it downstairs in their home. I had better things to do with my time and money than smoke and valued my health too much.
The jobs one is so tru even though I'm in school this always happens!
Love being a dude.
The one with the makeup is stupid; I know so many women who don't wear any make up and if they do, they do it, because they like and want it. Sure there are some, that seem to wear make up, because the soceity make them believe they have to, but: this way it isn't "how a woman see something" it is how soceity makes it seem. Also the thing with birth control: huh? Like some people also say; birth control is a thing for both, it's not really something you decide alone. Sure, you should think about it an be prepared, but also a woman can go for the "free" (i think its rare that you find free condoms) condoms and avoid the pill. Also I'm not sure if most guys be like this. I think there are men that struggle with selfesteem, also like some women do.
remember when i first met my girlfriend. i didn't tell anyone, i just go at that place. My girlfriend: she tell her family with who she was and where she was.
If I go meet someone I've never met in person, I might not tell people who I'm meeting, but I make sure it's during busy hours, in a place with many people and that someone knows at least where I am. But I don't do that just with men, or because I'm a woman, I do that because strangers are strangers and better safe than sorry. A woman might not be physically as capable of hurting you, but she could be working with someone, or have a weapon or something.
I am doing the same usually.
I didn't expect that last one....
Aleksandar Kuyumdzhiec for president! Women shouldnt be so afraid...
I'm sick of these shit posts !! full of sexist stuff !!
Yeah I also hate to get pat on the head while doing a presentation or earn €1000 less than men just because I am a woman. This sexist stuff.
Are you working in Pakistan? Cuz in western countries there is law which forbid less pay depending on gender/race/religion ...etc.

Let's present the 'danger' view in another light. Let's make the person up front a guy, too...and make the person behind him a minority. Now it's lamentable and bigotry, isn't it?

Hint: It is when it's a man and a woman, too.

Hmmmm.....sounds a lot like a feminazi cartoonist. lol Apparently, they have no idea what guys actually think. As for the whole "condom vs pill" cartoon....ummm....the pill is a medication that affects a woman's body. A condom is not. Might be worth making cartoons that make more sense.

Don't strong, independent women decide for themselves how they see and shape their world? Some things are fixed, others can are variables.

Liberal Panda
Looks like all these liberals didn't like your comment.. :p
I'm afraid I have to agree with DeusCurrentMachina O. People who don't agree with posts on this website aren't invited for discussion but rather downvoted so their comment gets hidden. It's really interesting that a website that tries to pretend to promote positive attitude and opend mindedness censors and silences people this much. I gues they don't REALLY want free speech. They just want free speech if its what they want to hear.
@reclameshit2015 2016 Basically you have free speech as long as they like what you say, anything other than that is considered hate and will be suppressed dictator style
@reclameshit2015 2016 - agreed!
Yeah, basically al who dont support what this comic is trying to say are silenced, typical...
Guess what, Dues, I ain't a liberal and i like this article. Take that!!
I'm not sure this is so much how women "see" the world, as how the world actually is most of the time. x

Is this website called "Bored Panda" or "BORED SJW RETARD .com" ?

Seems to me like this journalist did poor research and really has a prejudice and hatred towards men. She paints a false picture of most men

Men have way better lives than women do, apparently

Wow all these are seemed to be based so much about ones personal experience it's kinda of skillfull. The only thing I can relate to is the one about Style. But yeah let's promote this as the real world.

@reclameshit2015 2016 - agreed!
Yeah, basically al who dont support what this comic is trying to say are silenced, typical...
Guess what, Dues, I ain't a liberal and i like this article. Take that!!
