“Meet The Haute Hare”: I Created A Themed Photoshoot For A Couture Easter Bunny (15 Pics)
If you know me, you know I loathe the traditional. So I decided to do a not-so-traditional spin on the Easter Bunny.
My sister and I made the egg skirt, she made the matching headpiece and my hubby and I made the egg to create a fashion-forward female Easter Bunny.
I also wrote a little poem to bring the concept to life:
HAUTE HARE: THE EASTER BUNNY REVEALED
For too long people thought
The Easter Bunny was a guy
Colorful vest, a goofy grin
No pants and a bow tie (sigh)
But the truth must be revealed
For it’s simply no longer fair
The Easter bunny is a girl
Meet your lavishly fair Haute Hare
She wears a crown of eggs
Encrusted by rare gems
Her basket drips with glittery gold
Her skirt has a diamond hem
Her home’s an opulent egg
She has baskets of goodies galore
But she doesn’t deliver them herself
She has her driver take them to your door.
