Dogs Who Grew Up Together On Meat Farm Reunite After Months Apart, And Their Reaction Is Everything

Meet Kenji and Sophia, two madly in love dogs who grew up on a meat farm in South Korea, and just got joyfully reunited after not seeing each other for months. The doggie couple even had puppies together, but after they got rescued by a group called Jindo Love and taken to the US, their ways parted. Kenji ended up in in a Sweet Paws Rescue shelter in Massachusetts, where he eventually met his new mom Lindsay Goldstein.

“He’s the sweetest dog,” Goldstein told The Dodo. “He’s so calm and affectionate, and loves attention and belly rubs. When he’s excited he lets us know with his deep howls.”

The doggie adapted well to his new life, except he couldn’t get on with other dogs – maybe because they weren’t Sophia? Goldstein knew about his sweetheart, and decided to track Sophia down to arrange a reunion between the two lovebirds.

“When he saw Sophia, it was obvious they remembered and loved each other,” Goldstein said.

The adorable duo couldn’t stop hugging and cuddling. Kenji’s owner observes: “He had more energy than ever that day and loved running around the yard with her.” That’s the spirit of love and friendship!

DO NOT travel to or buy anything from China, as much as possible, as they skin dogs alive: I’m a retired BLM and National Park Service law enforcement ranger who has traveled in China for several months, from the densely populated south east, to the very few inhabitant northwest. Read these: "Around 10,000 dogs have been skinned alive, cooked and eaten as park of a cruel annual tradition in China." http://metro.co.uk/2015/06/22/the-most-heartbreaking-pictures-from-chinas-cruel-dog-meat-festival-5257754/ "Stopping the #YulinDogMeatFestival is less to do with them being dogs & more to do with them being tortured and skinned alive,” http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/24/world/asia/dog-eaters-in-yulin-china-unbowed-by-global-derision.html?_r=0 I will NEVER return there, and I suggest that you do not either.
