Me And My Best Friend Spent 2 Years Creating A Children’s Book That Has Its Own Secret Soundtrack And We Filled It With Comments, Backstories And Pop Culture References For Parents That Are Only Visible Under Blacklight!
Soft Opening is probably the first children’s book to reference 2001: A Space Odyssey, the Big Lebowski and Twin Peaks just to mention a few. Our protagonist, Walter the hungry wombat sets out on the quest of finding a decent burger and following his strange encounters he decides to fulfill his destiny as a self-made wombat: he recruits a very diverse team and opens his own burger joint!
We’ve already produced a handful of prototypes in order to make sure that everything lives up to our lofty expectations.
We’re also donating €1 to UNICEF after each copy sold via our campaign.
