Mark Hamill is in the news for his phenomenal acting in The Fall of The House of Usher. However, if it weren’t for his wife, Marilou York, we would have never seen him in this brilliant horror drama.
The 72-year-old revealed in an interview that York pushed him to take on the role, even though she’s not a big fan of the horror genre herself.
The couple has been together for nearly 45 years. And their love story is a real meet-cute!

How Did Mark Hamill and Marilou York Meet?
Marilou and Hamill didn’t have a torrid Hollywood romance. The Star Wars actor met York when she was working as a dental hygienist in Westwood, Los Angeles.
“She came into the waiting room in jeans, white coat, breasts like melons, looking like a Vargas painting,” Mark told People magazine in 1981. “I said, ‘They let you dress like that at work? ‘She said, ‘Yeah. Next.’”

I have seen multiple materials with Mark Hamill and I very much like how he talks, what he talks and how he behaves. He seems like a humble person, always praises his coleagues, never a bad word. He has a great sense of humour and is very opened towards people. If it's only an "image" then hech, he is a really good actor. If not, then well... He's a really good actor nonetheless! I'm extremely happy for him and hope he and his have a wonderful Christmas time! :)
It is nice that this couple (famous or not) is happy. It does not conceal what is going wrong in the film industry. It might be wrong to judge whether it is wrong or right if people get married and divorced more often than they change their underpants, but all the stories of harassment which surfaced lately give the impression that there is no faith that could (or should) be restored. Rather, we see that there are a few guys in the industry who live more or less normal lifes.
Congratulations to you both Mr. & Mrs. Hamill. Ive been married to the same wonderful man for 50 years and it feels wonderful. You are both blessed to have survived Hollywood and be married that long! God bless you both.
