Mario-Themed Bar Just Opened And It’s Every Geek’s Dream Come True
Super Mario fans, rejoice! A new bar just opened in Washington D.C. and it’s awesome.
Called The Cherry Blossom Pub, the pop-up bar has been put together by The Drink Company. “Japan has always been a source of inspiration for me and, as a native Washingtonian, cherry blossom season is something we look forward to every year,” Derek Brown of Drink Company said. “This pop-up brings together some of my favorite things under one roof, including both classic cocktails and Mario nostalgia.” Once you step inside the bar, you can expect to be feeling nostalgic right away… Think 8-bit question blocks, mushrooms hanging from the ceiling, cocktails called ‘It’s A Me, A Mario’, and even the bartenders are dressed as Mario and Luigi! 2 things this didn't mention, they are only doing this temporarily, and its tough to get in there. My friends and I went this past weekend, and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait, so we went back the next day at a less busy time, still at least a two hour wait. Super packed inside too.

I assume it's pop-up because once Nintendo gets wind of this they will try to shut it down!
