This doesn't count as a 'castle' Its just another modern building with a synthetic stone veneer. If I'm going to shell out $14 million, I want a real masonry building with a slate roof, the kind of thing intended to last for thousands of years. What castle doesn't have an armory?! or a forge for the armorer, or stables, or a granary, or a barracks for one's footsoldiers?
What a gaudy nightmare. It looks like Bass Pro, a castle, and a hotel designer had an unholy child.
Is this to overlook the peasants of Ironwood? And why does it not have a moat? Castles have them, that is what the drawbridge is for. How will you keep Montanians from approaching your walls?
The towers are poorly situated, only offering a narrow window of defensive fire from the archers. Nearly the whole rear of the castle is indefensible from the ramparts.

Even if I had the money I wouldn't feel comfortable in this house. It's the opposite of cosy.
One of the great underlying tragedies of this "castle" is that many (if not all) of the subcontractors were not paid for their work and went out of business. The person that did build this as a temple to his ego is a felon and ruined many lives in the process of attempting to construct this place. If it is to sell, there are many people whose liens may be paid - a small relief for this community. However so much damage has been done. So many of those rooms are way too big to be practical. Why would I need to stand 10 feel away from my wife in the morning when we're brushing our teeth? I'm thinking this might have been built for tourists, maybe they'll make it into a lodge of some sort. Seems a bit ridiculous for one family.

Even if I had enough money to spare: I would prefer a smaller home with view over the ocean instead of this strange bad made "fake castle" monstrosity. That thing is so oversized that can assume there are constantly some maintenance work needed at some end of that thing throughout the whole year. I do not need 19 bathrooms to boast for some snob aquaintances and I don't want to need a map to navigate through some maze
Everything yet they only have one washer and dryer??? If I have a house like that, I refuse to wait to do multiple loads. AT LEAST 2 washers and dryers. Maybe 3 dryers. But then, they probably have housekeepers doing the laundry or just wear their clothes once and then throw them away.
