Dying Dog Found On Street Is Completely Transformed In Two Months
This sick dog was found by Indian organization Animal Aid Unlimited. It was suffering from mange, and clearly had had no human contact in a long time. They brought him to their shelter and tried to interest him in some food.
“He was so exhausted and inward.”
Animal Aid Unlimited hooked the dog up to an IV and treated his infections, and within ten days, his skin was healed. But the real transformation took place in the following weeks. When we finally see the dog again, two months later, he’s happy and fully healed!

This dog had mange and was starving and dehydrated
He was found on the side of the road in Udaipur, India
At first, he was afraid of human touch
But with gentle care and treatment he started to get better
After two months of intensive treatment his skin had healed and he was happy
Animal Aid Unlimited helped him get over his anxiety
The end result: a healthy dog, eager to live life!

Agree. I always encourage people to adopt. Adopted dogs/cats are the best. So many people want to have a certain breed they don't care. My cousin for example. He just went out & bought 2 dogs for a couple of thousands. Sad.

Always amazes me at the depth of human depravity and then to see the wonderful instances of human kindness. All of us and India in particular, should take note of their own Mahatma Gandhi who stated, " The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
I feel for animals so much more than Humans. The animals need human kindness. Please give it to them.
You feel for animals more than your own race? Why so much self hatred? HUMANS are the ones who saved this poor animal.

Bless you for the work that you are doing - this was clearly a miracle. What a lovely dog.
Great story, we all need to read and hear about stories like this more & more, thanks
Children and animals they are the most abused, as they have no voices.
Wat een ellende toch allemaal en wat een lieve, geweldige mensen die deze hond het leven weer hebben teruggegeven!
How on earth did he get like this in the first place. Im so glad there were decent people around to help. I hope he has found someone to love him.
I am sitting here and must cry, I feel really strongly about this story. I hope this wonderful dog will never, ever suffer again. Did he find a home yet?
I love endings like that!!!! And I love those people who helps animals <3 You are heroes!
I've always had rescue animals with a past. It's great to see them flourish.
Cool. I will now look into and consider this organization for a donation.
I'm glad this story turned out well. Love can do powerful things. That is one more dog that was saved from an awful fate.
All my critters: 5 dogs, 3 cats, a parrot, (and a husband) are all rescues. But it is particularly gratifying to learn that a country such as India has people who understand the need to rescue, carry through and heal those animals they are able to care for. The horrendous condition of this dog, and how he healed in just a few months is a tale I wish for ALL stray, sick and injured dogs, cats, horses, animals all over the world. We as humans have the ability to cure the ills of the world. If only that were reality! And for this dog, I will hope he finds a loving, forever home!
I think in India they have no respect for animals except those cows. It is animals cruelty and inhumane to allow this poor creature to be treated so badly.
I am awestruck by the will and courage to survive of all those poor souls, bless the people who save them...
Humans aren't treated that much better in India/Pakistan/China... more than a billion of anything, it kinda loses its value
Now of course, I wonder which idiot will say: How about a billion dollars.
Load More Replies...Sure we can; it starts with birth control and social planning
