Man Spotted Naruto Running Near Area 51 During Live News Coverage

We’ve all seen (and laughed) at the viral “Storm Area 51” memes that started making rounds on the internet just a couple of months ago. And while most people had a good laugh and a giggle at the funny images related to the event shared, some had bigger plans than that. Plans that included “storming” Area 51 or at least bringing together all the people that shared similar sentiments.

That is how “Alienstock” was born. Matty Roberts, a 21-year-old student from Bakersfield, California, who was the creator of the original “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” Facebook event worked with several collaborators to organize an alien-themed music festival in Rachel, Nevada on September 19-22.

As the live reporter described the preparations for the festival near Area 51, a man did the infamous Naruto-run right past him

As the meme drew international attention, it was obvious that the event was something to watch closely. That’s why Channel 13 sent in a live reporter to see what the whole gig was about.

As Joe Bartels described what was occurring in Rachel, a man Naruto-ran past him. And to all the people who were at least a little bit familiar with the original jokes, that was a complete delight.

“Alienstock” festival planned to unite people from all over the world who had an urge to storm Area 51

Although, as technical issues and concerns from the citizens of Rachel cropped up, Roberts backed out of the project. Instead, he invited everyone to “Area 51 Celebration,” a single-night music event in Los Angeles that he would headline.

Roberts cited issues such as security problems, sanitation, medical personnel, and insurance permits as the reasons for his withdrawal from “Alienstock”

However, despite their “commander” abandoning the cause, it seems that people still showed up to the original event, even if it’s not professionally managed. Now that is a set up for something chaotic. And the world is ready to watch it all happen… with popcorn in their hands.

What started as a Facebook meme created by a student, Matty Roberts, sure took a life of its own and it was something that neither the creator of the event nor the US government could stop from spiraling out of control… yet?

I saw a kid try to Naruto-run earlier this week, he tripped and fell smacking his face right on the pavement. Must have knocked out some of his teeth cause blood was pouring down his chin. I've never laughed so hard in my life.

They put people out to supervise(hence 1st responders are out there waiting patiently) it they have to have some sort of organization to this chaos they cant arrest non of them because technically they aren't doing anything illegal...yet

This makes me think of my 7th grade ELA teacher. She would always pronounce it Na-root-o instead of Nar-roo-to

Perfect movie add: “in a world where the government hides secrets and aliens MIGHT exist, one brave soul leads the Naruto-running Myles to victory... what will become of him???”

I'm just amused by the TNG-esque jacket choice on the reporter.
