Hey! I’m Chelsea, 16 and living in Yangon, Myanmar. Even though I’m still in high school, I’ve always been sure that I want to pursue a career in makeup. I find my inspirations in the gory death scenes of Game of Thrones, *creepy, I know*, RuPaul’s Drag Race and everyday people whom are positive and fearless to express their thoughts.

I’ve always taken the positive parts of a “negative” experience as inspiration in a lot of my makeup. For me, makeup is a tool of expression, escape and art. Whenever I’m ecstatic or depressed, I’ve always put my feelings into art. Makeup has been an escape for me as, I could be someone else just for a little while, in a mask of makeup. In recent days, I’ve started giving makeovers out to people, who haven’t always felt “beautiful”, in a way of saying “thank you”. Since they are the ones whom always end up inspiring me in the end.
