I think "Adopt, don't shop". These cats come from a commercial cat breeder in Russia. Thousands of cats are euthanized daily in shelters.
Sadly, most people seem to care more about the looks of an animal than anything else.
You can do both dork. We have both rescue and purebred. Quit being shallow minded, all animals need love not just the less fortunate ones.
Thank you Jack, finally one responsible and compassionate comment after all those 'oh how cute'. The cattery??? It make me angry, there are thousands of oh so cute animals in the shelters which are euthanized every minute. Again, do not support, heartless breeders, please, adopt, don't shop!!!!
The ones who spend couple thousand dollars on a cat are not about to just let it roam free nor going to just abandon it ! It’s like the ones that condemn the hunter for hunting yet go to the meat counter and buy their hamburger ! I aldo wonder how many adopt don’t shop folks get the kitten instead if the poor old senior with many health conditions - the one nobody wants ! Self righteous Pharisees are what most are !
You know you adopt don’t shop people are for the most part self righteous individuals who really don’t care about the animals. A good breeder will spend hours of their time with the cats and kittens … thousands of dollars in health and food costs … give them a wage and they’ll be lucky if they even break even! So why do we breed - because we too love animals and seeing the joy that is experienced when someone gets one of these adorable purebreds. Tell me please how many PUREBRED REGISTERED cats and dogs are in the shelters? Very very few! So it’s not the breeders you should be lambasting! If the breeders are so irresponsible then please tell me why the shelters are not more full of PUREBRED breeds? You go find a purebred sphinx… a purebred bichon … a purebred whatever … not talking about the occasional one … nor the mixes but a 100% purebred! Breeders of these cats ensure the kittens go to a good home … they ensure their breeding parents are of good sound quality …
