The embroidery patterns in the Slavic nations are such rich explorations of color and geometric design. I have shirts from Poland, circa 1960, that I treasure & still wear today.
The pictures suggest an as yet undiscovered quality about the land itself. A wonderful place to explore and travel through. I wish I were a student as again - I would lace up my hiking books, sling my rucksack over my shoulder, and set off on a wonder journey.
