If You’re Still Not Decided What Pet You Should Get, This Artist’s Illustrations Will Give You A Hint
This artist describes herself as an art director, painter, illustrator, occasional animator, vegan and animal lover and most of that shines through her beautiful artworks.
Yaoyao Ma Van As, currently living in Los Angeles, has worked with many famous brands, like Disney TV Animation, Warner Brothers Animation, Rick and Morty, Stoopid Buddy Studios, Starburns Industries, but today let's focus on her personal art project - a series of heartwarming illustrations about a girl and a dog.
"My creative ideas come from many different places, mainly my pet dog Parker is my biggest inspiration," the artist told Bored Panda. "We adopted him almost four years ago and he's been the center of our world ever since."
Yaoyao Ma Van As has been interested in art since she was a young girl. "I've been drawing since I could remember, but on and off, never really serious. I started doing these illustrations about a year and a half ago because I wanted to get back into drawing again." When asked about how she creates her cool drawings, the artist shared, "I use Photoshop, normally start with a rough sketch, and then work in the local colors, adding lighting as I go." It takes her around 2-4 hours to finish a piece. "I'm constantly trying to push myself to do different things, so sometimes the trial and error take more time."
Below you can find some of the beautiful drawings by Yaoyao Ma Van As. These stories are inspired by events or experiences, by living together with your best friends, by ups and downs, and show the true beauty of selfless friendship. Take a look at these unique artworks, vote, and enjoy.

This happens to dogowners a lot, it's like if dogs have a special sense
Just the opposite here, lol, checks out purse for left overs or treats or new clothes in shopping bags before kisses. Spoiled? Yes.
We used to nickname our dog "peg leg Pete and his upholstered paws"... his legs didn't look real...
Yup. Have to try and remember to keep the bathroom door shut at all times!!
YES! and if you change your mind on what he should wear , Dude won't let me take it off until we get back from that walk and then sometimes it's a fight of who will win.
So accurate: discarded outfit options all over the room! Which shoes will she choose?
This one I absolutly love. Sitting outside on a beautiful spring/summer night, lightning bugs lighting up the yard and some water to sink your toes into. THIS is the illustration I'd love to be in
I would fall in the water after the first stepping stone! I'm super clumsy.
Love the sunlight on his fur! Love, love your happy artwork and attention to the details!!
OMG... this reminds me of my dear Pino (who's now in doggy heaven). He always watched me like that whenever I got ready for work early in the morning, while my husband and our other dog, Maya, were still sleeping.
What utterly gorgeous pictures these are. You can see the bond between girl and dog, it's wonderful. Couldn't decide which one I loved the best
Me and my pug Velvet, I'm drawing and Velvet needs attention...drawing can wait, my time with Velvet is finite.
I have absolutely loved all of these pictures! So upbeat and loving. Despite accidents and messes all is well in this relationship between dog and woman. I have a very similar life with my little dog.
There's no way my dogs would be laying down if I was in the kitchen cooking. They'd be hoovering the floor and waiting for an oops.
