Homophobia is still well and alive amongst our society. Why it shouldn't be there are just too many reasons, which we are not going to explore this time. And while the internet can provide a platform to connect us, educate us, and mobilize us, it can also give people the opportunity to spread hateful views. Currently, there are 26 countries around the world that legally recognize same-sex marriage, and not everyone is happy about LGBT becoming a norm.
All across Twitter, Facebook, and even in text messages to family members, people have taken it upon themselves to profess their homophobic views. You can clearly see from these hateful texts, that broader vision and education is what these people need. Well, you can fight fire with fire, or you can take another route. Boring legal details: in the US, marriage is a secular matter. A marriage license is filed with the state in which the marriage occurred. The person who signs the marriage license must be recognized by the state as authorized to do so. That person might be a judge, a magistrate, or a religious cleric. Legalizing gay marriage only means that two persons of the same gender may be married by a person authorized by the state to do so, the state will recognize that union as valid. At no point are religious institutions informed by the US government that they must perform gay marriages, approve of gay marriages, or recognize gay marriages. If you don't approve of gay marriage, then don't get gay married!

Uhm your gear still works fine if you're team homo. The best bit about being gay is we don't "accidental" a pregnancy terribly often. The interesting part is that men are no longer needed for children. Ovum fertilization allows two eggs to be joined to create an embryo that can be implanted. Aren't they fed up with this silly argument? I almost prefer the openly religious arguments to these pseudo_scientific ones. Why whould we have to be all homosexuals or none at all? If you insist on peocreation point, well, considering we suffer if overpopulating , a higher pourcentage of gay population would save our planet, if it means reducing our natality rates.
You don't need to marry a man to have a baby, all you need is semen, and a womb, which is sometimes just sitting around in a test tube thingy. What is nice for children to have though, is parents that love each other. If some of those parents need the same gender to love each other, sure, just try to raise your kid in a home that's happy. I won't say happiness is a requirement for survival, but it helps.
