I Walked On Frozen Baikal, The Deepest And Oldest Lake On Earth To Capture Its Otherworldly Beauty Again
Lake Baikal is still the pride of Russia and the deepest and cleanest lake on the planet, about 19 percent of the lake fresh water is contained in this lake. Its purest water creates an incredible world in winter when the lake at one moment is covered with ice crust. The methane and oxygen bubbles from the plants freeze up momentarily, creating an incredible 3D model of the cosmos. Cracks, hummocks, splashes in the grottoes on the shore - it is so unique and beautiful that it captures the spirit.
I want to appeal to all tourists and residents so that they keep this clean corner of nature whenever possible, it is unique, beautiful and amazing. It would be very pitiful to lose him.

I never really considered bubbles when thinking about frozen lakes. They're so beautiful. These photos are unlike any I've seen. Just so pretty.
Love everything about this--but could do without the vehicle. Just leave puppers in the pic and it's perfection!!

Stuff fantasy cannot surpass. I do love the pictures without the persons in it. They give me more magic. The cracks in the ice remind me of my youth. We were taught that the cracks could tell us the thickness of the ice and that they strenghtened the ice mass. The bubbles would weaken the ice mass. However, I love both the cracks and bubbles.
In most lakes, only the top portion freezes. The rest doesn't freeze and remains liquid. And there is oxygen below the ice, so the fish are ok.

Absolutely asking. We are in a rare deep freeze here in Texas and the entire state is frozen. Below 0 temps. May power outages.
