The President of the Naples Cat Alliance Megan Sorbara immediately knew there was something wrong when she saw the white kitten being wrapped by the tabby two. The siblings were keeping her warm and comfy as it turned out the poor trembling thing could barely walk on her own….
Sorbara took them to the shelter and named them after gelato flavours – Praline, Pistachio, and Coconut. After all, she was on the way to get some ice-cream when she got a text about the kittens! Turned out that Coconut suffered from a very pronounced head tilt to the left, and that’s why the siblings were so protective of her. Sorbara tried to use the kitten as bait to catch their real mother – with no success.
Now you will never guess who became the foster mother of these cuties… Sorbara’s dog Bitsy that turns out to be the biggest cat lover in the world! Bitsy is there for the kittens, giving some extra love and care to the white and fluffy Coconut.
Apparently, cuddling with the dog is great for Coconut’s muscles as it helps her stretch. ‘Coconut is getting stronger every day. She is able to keep her head up longer and is getting around much better’ Sorbara told Bored Panda. And we also got some insider news – in about 10 weeks these cuties aka ‘the ice-cream kitten’ will be ready for adoption. A super cute kitten anyone?
