Basically you cut off the flower stem of the pineapple approximately an inch deep. Put the pineapple Turner device right over the core push down slightly and just turn clockwise. The tricky part is knowing how far to go down what I did was I just kept turning the device slowly as I approached the bottom of the pineapple and tried to pull up on the device. eventually it pulls right out leaving the core on the inside of the pineapple and the pineapple circles are uniform and perfect. If you've ever haven't used one of these devices cutting a pineapple is a chore. Not any longer." - pepper45322
