This Woman Left A Note After Someone Stole Her Parking Space. The Response Was Unexpected
It’s natural to cringe when you spy a piece of paper tucked under the windshield wipers of your car, but what would you do if you found out that the paper was a note, and not a ticket? Recently, a woman who found her paid residential parking spot taken by a stranger left a note communicating her displeasure. She also wrote that while she could have gotten the car towed, she instead parked elsewhere, which resulted in an parking ticket that she couldn’t afford.
To her surprise, the next day, she found an envelope under her windshield wiper–an envelope with an apology letter and 100 USD in cash!
After someone stole her parking space, this women decided to leave this note
“Hey Stranger, Because you were parked in my spot last night (and still are??), I got a ticket for street parking overnight w/out a permit. I’m broke. These are privately owned spots, and I could have you ticketed + towed. I won’t, but please don’t park in my spot again.”
The response was truly unexpected:
“First I would like to apologize for parking in your spot. It was irresponsible on my part and I would like to give this to you to pay for the ticket and whatever else you need. It can be tough around this time of year. Merry Christmas – the a**hole who parked in your spot.”
The stranger put $100 in $20 dollar bills inside the envelope!

Share on FacebookGeez, there are a bunch of Debbie Downers here.. I'm pretty sure it's not a made up story!
Where exactly was this response letter placed for the woman to find ...?
On her windscreen, under the wiper, I presume. Where would you put it? What a strange question.
Load More Replies...Have you people never attempted to write with your non-dominant hand.....?!? It's a beautiful story, thank you for sharing.
I had a guy honk and give my Mom and I a rude gesture as I attempted to get my walker out of the car at the cancer centre. Nice, huh?
Well, if they were parked in a spot that night, and then came back the next day with a car in the spot, you could deduct that the car in the spot is the correct car for the spot.... just saying.
Load More Replies...Except why would you take a photo of the note you left at the first place?
His response was written on the other side of the piece of paper she left on his car...
Load More Replies...Same handwriting on both sides the p's are the same as well as the t's just a little sloppy on the responding side
If it was really a fake story the person would've been easily been able to find another person with a more obviously different handwriting to make this up. You're the one who is being a conspiracy theorist, and killjoy.
Load More Replies...So... the two people got together and compared notes so you could take a picture of them both? unless it is the same envelopes being used...
Ummm look a little closer, it's the same damn paper. Two different notes on one paper, how could they!
