Kim Kardashian Posts Photos Of Her Mansion And It’s So Empty, People Start Hilariously Roasting It

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are a very rich couple who can afford a very expensive modern house. The pair – who live with their four children – purchased their current home for $20 million in 2013 before starting extravagant renovations which continued for four years. Kris Jenner later tweeted that the property is now worth $60 million. The family moved into the house in 2017 and their fans and followers have been curious about their life inside the mansion ever since. And they got a few glimpses of it.

After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West purchased their current home, they spent fours years renovating it

Not so long ago, Vogue went to visit them. Kim called their place a “minimal monastery” and said that it was inspired by Axel Vervoordt, a Belgian art dealer and interior designer, as well as Kanye himself. She also recently tweeted a few pics of the modern interior, however, a lot of people seem surprised that her and Kanye’s house looks very empty. Which, according to some, is even more confusing given the fact that the power couple have little kids running around.

Eventually, the internet decided to help them decorate, and everyone started photoshopping things into Kim and Kanye’s house. Continue scrolling to see Twitter’s interior design ideas, and check out more Photoshop battles that Bored Panda has written about. Like the one with a badass hawk. Or this awkward half-cat.

Vervoordt said that teaming up with the couple to create the interior for their modern architecture house was an unlikely meeting of the minds. “I’m not from the pop world, the rapper’s world. But I discovered Kim and Kanye as wonderful human beings,” he told Architectural Digest. “We have common values in life, important human values, like respect for the beauty and spirituality of art. You can call it religion, but this is perhaps beyond religion, a search for cosmic values of peace and positive energy. We had very profound conversations about the space of the mind and the importance of silence.”

The designer and tastemaker explained that these conversations were what guided the vision of the modern design look. Vervoordt described the process as distillation. “Kanye and Kim wanted something totally new. We didn’t talk about decoration but a kind of philosophy about how we live now and how we will live in the future. We changed the house by purifying it, and we kept pushing to make it purer and purer.”

As a result, many of the rooms in the house were transformed. They became luminous, further accented with pale natural materials. Most of the furnishings consist of Vervoordt’s subtle designs, complemented with works by the likes of Royère and Pierre Jeanneret. “The proportions are the decoration,” Kanye said. However, Photoshop wizards clearly disagree.

Apart from Kardashians, how is that not double standard? Someone said that people with specific aesthetic are empty, so I said that people with another aesthetic are dumb. It's aesthetic and style so it's like saying "you don't like green dresses so you are fat, ugly and stupid because I love green color and I said so". Moving on, what if we have dysfunctional family in pretty warm house? Is it still called normal because of "normal" house? If it's not then why calling people empty because of their love for white walls is normal and everyone is clapping their hands?

I wonder - is this a sensory overload issue. Kayne especially seems to notice all the things around him. Maybe this quiet is helpful - like Steve Jobs' outfits. The room around certain people is just a lot louder to them. Myself, I am not environment-sensitive/ environment-awarw, but I know people who are. It's just a whole different perception experience they're having than mine.

This is a house for show, obviously noone can live like this. I'm just thinking, what's the point of showing this and claiming "this is how we live, we are so sophisticated", while we all know you need your sofa and your kitchen and kids toys and a dirty laundry basket and even the toilet! ;) But god forbid people would see you are just a human being like all of us...

I get the concept of using simplicity of design to make a statement about raising art to a spiritual, quasi-religious level. And it's a valid statement, in that many artistic endeavors are undertaken to achieve a kind of purity of essence. But the effort seems almost a little pretentious, considering the Kardashians are known for a life of luxury and self-indulgence. Ascetism and the pursuit of simplicity are not the first things that come to mind, when the subject turns to them.

They can choose to live however they want to.... but if they publish how they live then they are inviting people to have an opinion. If you stand on a red carpet you are expecting people to look at you and ask you about the dress you're wearing.... and if you choose to wear something totally wacky or different you are trying to make people notice you. That house is the same; they want to be, or think they are, different. I worry what kind of environment that is for children. There doesn't seem to be any softness anywhere just stark hard lines. It's a bit like the clothes she wears; all the white and beige crop tops and cycling shorts... almost an antithesis of traditional beauty or wealth which is typically decorative and made up of luxurious materials and texture. I would doubt every room is like this... I suspect this is what they want people to think they like but hidden away there is more normal family space. It's all for show just like everything else they do!

Is this the house that Kanye "redesigned" and changed his mind so many times that it cost twice as much, due to his demands to build stuff, and then remove or change it, over and over? Because if it is, it looks like he finally just lost interest. One thing is for sure - Kim was allowed no input on this.

I like a lot space but um... this is too much... If I got a mansion, sure I might have a very clear room for quiet or calming stuff like reading, yoga, dancing, just relaxing, etc but not ALL the rooms

I should give Kim credit - in this home of hers, even MY cat will have trouble finding anything to destroy or shed hair on, and he's a pro 😼

It doesn't appeal to the mind at all. It's just... empty. It would mess with my head if I lived there. It wouldn't feel like a home, it'd feel like a big, white, empty box .

I don't know enough about Kim Kardashian to even have an opinion of her, but I actually like the minimalist aesthetic.

It brings to mind words like dull, cold, lifeless, boring, empty, lack of creativity, lonely....but mostly cold cold cold.

A roof for people who don't plan on spending any time there, and maybe don't want people to steal anything while they're gone? Idk. Why have a "home" at that point?

I like the one with all the plants. Still is the 'minimalist' look she's aiming for but doesn't look like a mausoleum.

The dog s******g on the carpet is the best. And, yep, their new digs look exactly like a mental ward. Minimalism ≠ sad & desperate.

I do not like an all white house. I know it's popular right now, but no. I like gray walls and white trim. I do like the pic with the purple door, though.

I don't care if it's empty. Maybe they like it empty. But I suppose they wanted the world to get some impression by doing that and I really dislike showing off and influencing. Very snobbish thing to do.

It is a reflection of the souls of the people who live there, blank and empty.

This is one of the most steril cold places I have seen very long. What about making it to a cosy place? Green plants, TV, carpets etc. I think K.K wanted to show how rich she and her crazy hubby is. I just think it exploded up in her face.

Not a good environment for the kids... no nothing! It can cause all kinds of issues later. Except somehow I think, they don't live in the parts of the house that looks like this! I bet, the kids' rooms and theirs look vastly different. This, seems just for show.

Is this the house that Kanye "redesigned" and changed his mind so many times that it cost twice as much, due to his demands to build stuff, and then remove or change it, over and over? Because if it is, it looks like he finally just lost interest. One thing is for sure - Kim was allowed no input on this.

Why even post anything about the Kardashians on this site? This is supposed to be a site with positivity and real world important things and changes happening. I visit this site to get away from that fake world!

This is the brand new house, I think they will buy loads of stuff further, because such minimalism is quite good for clinic, but inconvenient for home. Also such people won't live in so empty home. They like jewelry and so on, such minimalism is not for them.
