In honour of Black History Month, cosplayers across social media platforms are participating in #28DaysOfBlackCosplay, including Instagram star Kiera Please.

The 21-year-old Virginia native has taken the Internet by storm with her cool costumes, and we're not just talking about the time she did Storm from X-Men. Whether she takes on anime or American cartoon characters, her ability to transform into any of the famous characters she chooses is truly awe-inspiring.

Kiera is participating in a hashtag challenge created by fellow cosplayer Chaka Cumberbatch that aims to break down racism in the cosplay community. The challenge is a celebration of multiracial talent and promotes equality and inclusion for everyone interested in cosplay, especially young people of color who may otherwise feel unwelcome. Check out her best cosplay looks so far below!

J.K approved both black H in stage play and white H in the films. Take a leaf from her, it's irrelevant.

BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN THAT HERMIONE IS WHITE: The books never say, they just say she has brown eyes and bushy hair

Does it matter what skin tone she is? Hermione will still be the same Hermione

The Hermione from the books could easily be black, or be anything but Caucasian for that matter. She makes for a beautiful Hermione, fitting the vague descriptions well (after she corrected her teeth after the failed polyjuice elixir mind you)

In the stage play approved by the original author of the Harry Potter books Hermione is black.

Although I think this Herminone is anazing!! And Black Herminone should so be a thing, it does say in the books 'Herminone's white face was sticking out from behind a tree' so make of that what you will, I just think JKR was trying to get brownie points when the majority of her cast is white. Either way this woman looks amazing!

Honestly, the 'black' Hermione (as people flipped out for the casting in the play) looks SO much closer to the description in the books!

I actually thought she was black when I read the books, so this makes so much sense.

I actually thought Hermione was black until the movies came out anyway. This makes way more sense to me.
