50 Times People Got What They Deserved As Shared In ‘Justice Served’ Online Group
Some say that in an ideal world, the law is not needed. However, our society is far from perfect and there are plenty of people who deserve a hot steamy plate of justice. After all, what goes around comes around, and there’s a whole online community to prove it.
Justice Served is a subreddit where more than 1.8M members share stories showing that fairness still prevails. Whether we’re talking about bike thieves, abusive police officers or offensive taxi passengers, these are the evildoers that were put in their rightful place.
Bored Panda has collected some of the best posts from this online group. Continue scrolling, upvote the pics where you think karma did its job and let us know if you have any similar stories in the comment section below.

Nature Is F**king Metal
Since 2013, the subreddit has been steadily growing and bringing our attention to people who got what they deserved. From seriously gruesome crimes to petty thefts, the community is dedicated to sharing the best examples of how law and order gets gradually restored.
According to the moderators, “Posts must include a clear display of justice. ‘Justice’ includes charges—not just convictions; justice outside the courtroom, and justice that may not be inherently physical altercations.” This does not apply to protesting, call-outs, and viral or staged clips. The mods do not want to see memes, image macros or screenshots of articles, they wish to hear the whole story.

The phrase “The king is dead, long live the king!” is written at the top of the page. Originally, it was used as a way to announce that a monarch has just passed away and to introduce the new king who immediately takes over. In modern times, the saying often serves as a headline for articles or ads on themes of continuation or replacement.
One could think that the phrase is about immortality—an idea might die, but the institution will live on. It will be replaced with something else only to keep the function of the previous thing or person alive but will not bring any real improvements to the table. Over the years, the justice system has seen many changes and still, it remains flawed and requires our immediate attention.

According to the Sentencing Project, the U.S. is the world’s leader in incarceration and the criminal justice system today is like a bicycle stuck in one gear—the prison gear. Over the last 40 years, the population in prisons and jails has increased by 500%, with more than 2M people serving a sentence today.
One explanation for this is the change in the sentencing law and policy, and not in the crime rate itself. This has resulted “in prison overcrowding and fiscal burdens on states to accommodate a rapidly expanding penal system, despite increasing evidence that large-scale incarceration is not an effective means of achieving public safety.”
It Took A Long Time, Sure, But She Got The Justice She Deserved
Not Sure If This Is A Repost Or Not
While sentencing people to prison has had some impact on crime, it’s not as successful as one might think. First, imprisonment is not as effective when it comes to youth and drug crimes: “When people get locked up for these offenses, they are easily replaced on the streets by others seeking an income or struggling with addiction.”
Next, people tend to “age out” of wrongdoing. There’s research that shows that crime starts to peak during the teenage years and begins to decline when people are in their mid-20s. Because of this reason, lengthy prison sentences are a counterproductive and costly approach, with the exception of targeting extremely dangerous criminals.

Most Americans agree that the country’s criminal justice system is an ineffective, purely punitive approach to crime, as stated in the research by the Open Society Institute. They conducted a nationwide telephone survey of 1,056 adults where they found out that Americans want to prevent crime rather than deal with the aftermath.
The majority of the recipients favor dealing with the roots of crime. For example, today people see drug abuse as a medical problem and not a serious felony, as it was seen earlier. They think that it should be handled by counseling and treatment, not by courts and the prison system.

What Goes Around Comes Around
“Americans believe that today’s prisons are no more than “warehouses,” providing little or no rehabilitation or reentry programs, that instead simply store criminals for a period of time and then dump them back on the street, no different than when they were first incarcerated,” Open Society explained.

Needless to say, most people want fairness and this subreddit is a great place to see that justice does not fail to prevail. Still, if we wish for some positive shift in our society, harsh prison sentences should not be the primary tool for fighting crime. Using prevention, treatment and long-term public safety solutions should lead to change in the crime rates in the future.

Racially motivated 911 calls are calls about black people using their own pool, black people sitting in the park, black people walking their dog, black people walking in a white neighborhood or black people standing too near to a car owned by a racist.
Mexico For The Win
It's true that Mexico did offer slaves sanctuary but the Mexican revolutionaries did not fight bounty hunters searching for slaves as the Mexican revolution took place from 1910- 1920, about 50 years after slavery was banned in the US following the Civil War. What Pancho Villa's northern revolutionaries did do was conduct border raids against racist Texas rangers who attacked Mexican nationals.

It was so sad to see such a sweet guy be abused. Hearing that she said no one will believe him because he's a man absolutely broke my heart. Had to help my brother out of an abusive relationship and it was awful. Men are finally being heard as victims
I hope Johnny finally gets his justice. He's suffered enough. Male victims of DV (I personally know a guy in a similar situation) will finally be... - no pun intended - heard.
society has to finally acknowledge that men are subjected to abuse just as women are abused. many times, men will not report this because they think that no one will believe that a woman can hurt them or that they are unwilling to admit that a woman has beaten them. but, that is just the physical part of the abuse. cases such as depp's are much more common in that women will falsely accuse men for the sole purpose of abusing them mentally and emotionally not to mention publically condemnation for supposed acts. glad to see that depp was able to be seen as not the abuser but the victim in this case.
You'd be amazed the amount of people who still won't listen. They're sticking to 'well if it wasn't him, then they were both as bad as each other!' Because ofc no woman could ever abuse someone of her own volition 🙄
Load More Replies...Sorry, I just want to ask (I haven’t been following this case very consistently) if either Johnny Depp or Amber Heard have been punished for these allegations or proven guilty? And if so, because from what it seems Amber Heard is the one abusing Johnny Depp, why was Depp taken off Fantastic Beasts but Heard remaining on Aquaman? Would somebody mind filling me in?
Because he filed a suit against a newspaper calling him a wifebeater and after examining all the evidence the judge ruled there was enough for the term to be accurate. The judge ruled that he was abusive. That's when he lost out on fantastic beasts.
Load More Replies...They were both abusive. They were both abused. Bring abusive doesn't mean you can't be abused and being abused doesn't mean you can't be abusive. Both acted in a despicable manner and Depp has a history of violence dating back to the early 90's, with arrests, resisting arrests and trying to escape police when being chased for speed. Heard is not better but they both have violent history.
All of u need to stop speculating and judging on something you don’t know the truth of. None of you know what actually happened and you cannot believe everything you hear in the media or read on the internet. Don’t base your opinion on something that may not be true. You can like or dislike a person from what u personally see i.e. like in an interview, but don’t base it on what other people say.
The idea that she'll never get another role is fine, but why is she not doing time for this?
It's not been proven in a court of law that she has abused him as far as I'm aware. A high court judge has ruled that Depp abused Heard on 12 occasions out of 14. I am rather leaning to the idea that they were both violent at times - though why and how it all came about is another matter. People can be violent in an attempt at defence. Depp has won the right to sue Heard for libel but, interestingly, that is all at this stage. This isn't done yet. Maybe we have more to learn and should wait before judging.
Load More Replies...Gosh. There's some totally unbiased reporting right there. And it's totally not from the Incel Times.
This isn't even accurate. Depp is the one who filed charges first against the newspaper calling him a wifebeater. The judge ruled there was sufficient evidence for that not to be libel. He lost that suit and that's when he started getting fired from roles like his Fantastic Beasts one. He appealed and lost that. He also filed the defamation suit. His employers were on his side until he pushed to sue and it got proven in a court of law that he was an abuser. There's absolutely nothing that indicates this picture has any truth to it or that he'll win the defamation suit either. Believe what you want but she never mentioned him by name in her op ed and he was proven in a court of law to have been an abuser. If he hadn't insisted on being litigious he'd probably still have his career intact. "Sweet guy" is also inaccurate regardless. He has a history of being an AH to people, often while under the influence if drugs or alcohol, and of destroying property.
I refuse to watch ANY movie or tv show that has Amber Heard init. And I'm the majority. She's finished.
She should be imprisoned the 🤬 . Her words gave me flashbacks, she knew EXACTLY what she was doing.
seems like money and abuse make the world go round! Put each one on a different continent and be done with it till Karma catches up!
I am on Depps side and will always support him. The guy is a great guy! Check out his stuff that he has done, like going into a children's hospital as Captain Jack Sparrow to cheer the kids up. Heard should have all of her contracts revoked and black listed from acting, and that's just for starters
Good! She deserves every nasty thing coming her way. Had the roles been reversed, people would get their knickers in a twist to support her. Glad to see most people support him, which just goes to show what a terrible liar and actress she is.
There's still a significant possibility he was the abuser. its just that public opinion has turned against Amber.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say they were not a good match and neither was good to the other. It's hard to dismiss what a High Court Judge found. https://www.cbr.com/johnny-depp-amber-heard-judge-abuse-allegations-ruling/ Depp grew up with abusive parents and does have a problem with drugs and alcohol.
Load More Replies...He was the one wronged and I hope he bankrupted her. She's a vile bitch
She won damages so that's not happened. Though she was supposed to donate the money in full or part (can't quite remember). There is evidence that he abused her - there is likely evidence that she abused him. Everyone is so quick to leap on a side and yet it's not that black and white. Marriages are complicated things and we weren't there. I've listened to the tapes as well... not quite how people portray things. Tone matters.
Load More Replies...Wasn't it shown that most of the stuff against Amber Heard was deliberately riled up on Twitter by Johnny Depp's legal team (just to say, I don't believe he knew anything about it). I listened to a programme about the scary route this could send court cases down.

Load More Replies...I hope he wins this lawsuit. This woman is a liar to the max. If Johnny Depp was the violent abuser she fabricated, we would have seen evidence of this long ago. He was with the same woman for many years, (Vanessa Paradise?) had children with her, and probably many girlfriends along the way. No one ever made these accusations until Amber came along. She is a big fat liar. I think Amber has serious mental health issues.
Remember this is also the woman who herself has been reported for being a domestic abuser by a former partner.

I know this post is about justice rightfully served but it makes me only realize how stupid people were in the first place. Its sad
How and why do people think they are so entitled, as to beat, steal from and kill people because they have a good excuse to, I'm a cop, I'm religious, I'm beautiful, I'm a star! It's a horrible thing what power can do! Guess we'll never learn!
