Someone Just Made A Spooky ‘IT’ Balloon Lamp And Sells It For $37
If you’re a fan of horror movies, or at least the 2017 remake of Stephen King’s “It”, you’re in luck today. Firebox is now selling a terrifying red lamp that is a reference to the iconic red balloon held by the movie’s main antagonist, Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
The “Pennywise Balloon Lamp” is around 35cm high and costs £29.99 (about $37). The site gives an amusing description of the item that any fan of the movie would adore. “A terrifying twist on your usual home decor” that is “perfect for illuminating your local rain gutters”.

This Pennywise balloon lamp is a real must-have for all IT fans
“Relax knowing that an evil ancient clown is watching you,” Firebox pitches the item to the buyer and gives a fair warning: “Contact the police if the balloon starts drifting away”.
“Terrify any poor guests in your home with this spooky lamp. A near identical replica to the one from the films, this red balloon casts a surprisingly ambient glow over everything in the room. It would almost be relaxing if its presence didn’t indicate that you’re being watched by an evil clown.”
So if you’re excited about the upcoming It Chapter 2, then you can definitely snatch one to celebrate the premiere. Or, if you’re a fan of creepy home decor that might look completely normal to the inconspicuous, then this particular balloon might just be IT.

Share on FacebookEven if I'd see the lamp, I wouldn't think of the movie. I'd just think it's a lamp shaped like a balloon.
FYI: Ikea did it first. They have been selling the same balloon lamp for $9 for at least three years because my kids have them in their bedroom as a night light. https://m2.ikea.com/us/en/p/droemminge-wall-lamp-red-00347911/
That's been around for years! Amazing what a bit of rebranding will do
Hilarious...... They've been selling this lamp for literally decades and nobody associated it with the film until until recently.
I haven't seen the new IT, but theTim Currie IT certainly put me off clowns forever, especially ones with red balloons.
I bought this exact lamp years ago for my boy, changes colour and everythig. The IT thing is just a new marketing ploy, it's been around for ages
37 for a desktop lamp that you can replicate with a red balloon and LED? Not a very wise investment for your pennies.
