All of us, at one point or another, have dreamt about finding a lost treasure box filled with excellent antique rarities that will provide us with an infinite fortune. Such wishes come and go, but some people still manage to find a real lost treasure in the most unexpected places. Of course, to each one their definition of a cache is unique, so our list includes such interesting things as ancient Viking swords, gemstones, and coins, as well as a nest of adorable baby bunnies. After all, aren't cute baby animals an unexpected treasure?
And much like with love, the most significant discoveries on our list were made when people stopped looking for them. You could spend all day dragging a metal detector across the beach, but often it is the person taking a casual stroll that happens upon the coolest stuff. At least the people on the list below would probably agree with this philosophy; each one found their own finders keepers at the most random times and in some very odd places.

I had a neighbor who raised Guinea pigs outside. They dug a burrow under his patio and raised a family.
They can be escape artiest and maybe you found one. LOL Look for "missing Guinea Pig" and enjoy it all you can. Just make sure it wasn't food for a boa. Never mind just keep it safe for the rest of it's life. Love you for taking it in.

I am owner of two beautiful guinea piggies, I had two in the past, and never bit me. None of them. Maybe they were scared, or u did something that did upset them. In other case, they are great friends to cuddle and talk to :)

Stones with natural holes in them are called witch stones or hag tones or adder stones - amongst many other names. They are considered by many cultures to have magical properties, including the capacity to allow one to see the fey world when looking through the hole. I recently cleared out the crawl space in my father's attic after he passed away. I found a box with carpet pad remnants in it. At the bottom of the box, was a newspaper from 1942! My father was only 10 years old. He didn't buy the house until 1970. That box had been there for a very long time!
Back in the late 80's I shared an old Victorian home in Atlanta with three friends. A large portion of the basement was walled off. We just had to explore it though. We found an old roulette wheel, a craps table, two steamer cases filled with women's boudoir clothes, and a box filled with bottles that looked and smelled like they had some sort of alcohol in them. One of my roommates and I did some research on the home and learned that it had been a speakeasy, gambling house and brothel during Prohibition. We also found a carpet bag that had all sorts of men's toiletries. One item in there was a small tin that had some sort of greasy gel in it. the name on the front said "Green's Hair Food for Men". There was also a comb and mirror set in the bag.
I was contacted through ancestry.com by a man whose son-in-law owns a used car lot in NH and found my uncle’s prayer book while cleaning out a recent acquisition for sale. Knowing his father-in-law is a WWII buff, he gave it to him, and the FIL tracked down my uncle’s name--and then me--on Ancestry. He sent it to me in NJ, and I gave it to my cousin in NY. Now he’s got a great memento of his dad’s service, and our grandmother, who gave it to him. book-5bc4a...13f2c1.jpg

IT WAS AMAZING. OUR STREET IS BUSY. PEDESTRIANS AND TRAFFIC. WE HAD RAIN THAT NITE. THE DIVIDER WAS NOT DESTROYED. WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SIDEWALK AND STRETCHED OUT.
