130 glaciers in North America 130 years ago. 130 glaciers in North America 2018. Same number, same acherage, different valleys. Southern hemisphere has 40% more glacier ice (estimated since not measurable 130 years ago.) "Greenhouse gasses" 1/2 the mid 1800's. Global warming is Scientifically trending with natural cycles.

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/alaska-s-glaciers-are-retreating/ "At both locations, the long-term records show that summer warming has resulted in sustained mass loss... The USGS reports that the state’s glaciers are losing 75 billion tons of ice annually" https://www.usgs.gov/centers/norock/science/retreat-glaciers-glacier-national-park?qt-science_center_objects=0#qt-science_center_objects "In Glacier National Park (GNP) some effects of climate change are strikingly clear. Glaciers are melting, and many glaciers have already disappeared...It has been estimated that there were approximately 150 glaciers present in 1850, around the end of the Little Ice Age and most glaciers were still present in 1910 when the park was established. In 2015, measurements of glacier area indicate that there were 26 remaining glaciers larger than 25 acres, the size criteria used by USGS researchers to define a glacier."

The 1915 photo shows nothing but ice where it meets the sea, how could you possibly tell the difference in sea level between that photo and the other? Even if there was a 2 meter change, you wouldn't be able to see it. But in any case, the actual change since then is close to 0.2 meters, again, not enough to be visible in a photo that shows no visible shoreline!

And you can tell how? The picture is so drastically different at the waters edge there is no landmark you can point to and say see... it's the same. Plus, the pictures are an approximation of the same angle and perspective, which would make it subjective even if there was a landmark at the waters edge. Keep in mind also that you are talking about a significant body of water that the melting ice spreads out over. It's not like all the water stays in one place.

No, its made up by Statists, and Progressives, i.e.Collectivists, who want an almighty state that controls everyone. If you really want to know what a Liberal is, go to FEE( Foundation for Economic Education), Cafe Hayek, Mises.org, or Acton.org for starters. That's where the Real Liberals reside, and there is none of that FDR Schist that he started in 1932. Check my Profile too.

I get the point this is trying to make, but we're missing too many details to make a real judgement. What if I took a picture in Colorado, then 103 years later took one in Florida and said "the United States 103 years ago and today"... apples and oranges. Is this the same exact spot, same season, etc? Doubtful we could even know that.

Look at the shape of the visible mountain top -- the two are a perfect match. And you'll notice that it's not just seasonal snowpack that's missing, it's glacier ice. Skepticism can be a good thing, but not when you ignore the evidence that's right in front of you.

Global warming / Climate change isn't a man made phenomenon. We are exiting an ice age. Thus it will warm up. Oh and Co2 isn't a bad thing. And even if it were we are at historically low levels.
