That's something a lot of people don't understand about cancer, is that it can last for YEARS. There are some forms that will carry a person off in a matter of months, but others that can be fought for years as Boseman had to. I've even heard of people battling with hemotological cancers for 15-20 years. And a person with these cancers has to go on with their life the whole time, raising children and earning a living, maybe even having the kind of success he did, while dealing with cancer the whole time. We just never know what other people are going through.
It’s no surprise that there are so many cinema lovers who appreciate movies by watching them over and over again. Films have the magical power of pressing pause on our everyday problems and carrying us into distant worlds, full of the most interesting characters and fantastic scenarios.

These tidbits of information are not only cool to know for your weekly trivia nights or for impressing your friends and family members. When you’re presented with a quick question, you need to be able to pull that information from your memory or try to connect the dots and think of a possible answer. Learning new things and being able to put them into context helps to keep your mind sharp and healthy.
You forgot to mention she is a professional video editor, which makes a huge difference as a lot of experience and software knowledge is required for this job. From text it sounds like she never edited any film before
Some people tend to dismiss learning new and interesting facts as a waste of time because today you can find any information you need with just a few Google searches. However, when a person is asked a trivia question that they know the answer to, they suddenly perk up and feel engaged.
One of the reasons behind this is simply that answering a trivia question provides us with a thrill. “You get a rush or a neuroreward signal or a dopamine burst from winning,” John Kounios, Ph.D., professor of psychology at Drexel University in Pennsylvania, told Healthline.
“I think whenever you’re challenged with a trivia question and you happen to know it, you get a rush. It’s sort of like gambling.”
Hell yes he was! Tolkien wanted to make a point about the value of humility and humble people, something that the modern world has forgotten.
Load More Replies...Everyone want's to have a friend like Sam, when we should really want to be a friend like Sam.
Indeed, speaking of flying in the face of public opinion... not here!!
Load More Replies...If I recall, isn't Sam also one of only two beings to ever willingly give up the ring (the other being Bilbo)?
I feel that Bilbo was initially reluctant to give up the ring and I vaguely remember him mentioning how wished he could see it again in the books. However, the ring appears to have absolutely no affect on the character of Tom Bombadil in the books.
Load More Replies...I scrolled down to the first person to mention the books so I could drop a like. The second and third books follow Sam, not Frodo. It's obvious who's the hero
Load More Replies...This is not surprising to anyone who has even a vague understanding of anything. What is surprising is how much unnecessary fluff Hollywood added to the films, yet how much important stuff they left out! The short cinema versions leftnhuge plot holes like the gifts from Galadriel just appearing in their possession!
In the extended version, the gifts are added... and it took a whopping 30 seconds of screentime.
Load More Replies...I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.
Load More Replies...He was. And that's why I think he had the final scene in the movies and last dialog in the books (besides the final apendix)
I agree with him. Him and Aragorn were the unsung two, always in the shadows yet always present in the time of need.
Without the bravery, courage, perseverance and kindness of Samwise Gamgee, the ring would be lost another time, Frodo is only the bearer
Yes, yes he was. Just a gardener wanting to get back home to his garden doing his bit to help and get this mess all over with.
HE WAS!!! SO MUCH KINDNESS AND STRENGTH WHEN ALL OTHERS DOUBTED HIM. LOVE WHEN HE STORMS THE TOWER WHERE FRODO IS, AND WHEN HE GIVES BACK THE RING TO FRODO...YOU CAN SEE HIS KIND HEART.
I always thought so too. Frodo becomes more and more anoying as the story goes on
The true hero of the story would've been J.R.R. Tolkien if he'd just written "So Gandalf summoned one of the stupid eagles, mounted it, flew to mordor, threw the ring in. The End."
The fate of the world is decided by three hobbits. Frodo carried the ring to Mordor, most of the way, a huge feat. BUT, he wouldn't have found a way into Mordor without Smeagol (even if his motives were to get Frodo killed and take the ring himself), the ring would have been lost if Sam wasn't there to pick it up after Frodo was stung by Shelob, and Frodo would have kept the ring and doomed the world if Smeagol didn't stalk them and try to take it back at the end. Sam, Smeagol, and Frodo are all equally the hero.
yeah... and don't forget Bilbo, who found the ring, used it, and then let it go, for Frodo to carry
Load More Replies...Yes frodo was a little b***h who had one job. Carry a damn ring to a volcano and never put the ring on. He almost immediately bout the ring on almost killed everyone multiple times. Meanwhile Samwise cared for him and nurtured him the whole way being a good friend. F**k you frodo.
Did you even watch the movies or read the books Dawson? I think you might want to work on your comprehension skills.

For anyone who’s wondering if you have to be smart on many different levels to be good at answering quiz questions, Kounios said that people aren’t necessarily better at trivia games just because they’re more educated. “Some people soak up facts,” he continued. “Plenty of people with a lot more education may not remember what they had for breakfast yesterday morning.”
“In typical people, my observation, not backed up by any research, is that their interest in trivia is confined to topics that they are generally interested in,” the professor added. “So if a person is very interested in history, then they may either seek out history trivia, or they might just naturally pick it up in the course of learning about nontrivial aspects of history.”
When it comes to films, learning new things about them can keep you motivated, confident, and always curious. So whether you’re a cinema expert or a novice, this Twitter account will definitely assist you in getting those brain cells tingling and gain some points in your next movie trivia quest.
Now this is a good detail that I didn't really realized until now.
Such a nice movie... "So you free? You mean you wanna dress like that?!."
Fun fact: the blood on his hand in the first picture is his own, I believe.
You might also have met him as "Chad" (really) in the Matrix Resurrections movie.
Disgusting amount of money. Hollywood has lost touch with reality and real people money

The highest grossing actor is the one whose movies in total have made the most money. It's meant to be a measure of the biggest box office draw and therefore the best or at least most compelling and attractive actor. Who is the highest grossing actor of all time? Cameo extraordinaire, Stan Lee.
Does that include just his appearance fees or also the money he made due to co-owning all those properties?
Load More Replies...I did read ages ago that Snakes On A Plane was going to be called something else and Samuel L Jackson said the film has to be called Snakes On A Plane otherwise he won't do it. Because it's about m***********g snakes on a m***********g plane.
So this is about movies. Tolkien's opinion about Samwise is certainly not referencing a movie!
