There was a wild conspiracy theory on the internet that theorized the trees represented the two towers and that the entire movie was subtley predicting 9/11. Of course it was a bunch of hogwash, but it's an interesting fact.
Yeah that is hogwash. Anything with the word 2 in it that becomes 1 could be concluded as being a premonition. Like the guy who had a bunch of quadtrains or whatever. Time can make complete nonsense mean something. Ya just have to give it enough time. :)

In the third movie, the cliff near the town is called Clayton Ravine, for the teacher, Clara Clayton. Then Doc and Marty save the teacher, and when Marty returns to the present the name has changed to "Eastwood Ravine". Marty called himself Clint Eastwood.
