So it'll take what little information it was able to grab and fill in the missing blanks. There's another way your brain kind of lies to you.     Or are "we" more than just our brains? There is a network of neurons in our gastrointestinal tract, for example, and so who's to say that what we normally think of at our consciousness or decision-making is harbored solely in our brains? Yeah, I know, it sounds like sci-fi. But there's so much about the human body that we don't know, and there are still astounding discoveries being made every year.
