I’m A Self Taught 15 Year Old Aspiring Photographer, Documenting My Hometown With Only My Phone
I am Autumn Sorrentino, native to the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I don’t have a fancy camera, using my phone to capture the beauty this state offers me. I’m always looking for opportunities and angles, enjoying nature all the while. These are some of my top picks from 2015- 2016. Enjoy! I hope you have as much fun looking at them as I did taking them.
Feedback would be appreciated as well, but please no negative comments. After all, I never took a class or own a Canon; I am a firm believer that it is the painter, not the brush, that makes a masterpiece. Thank you so much!

Despite Colorado not having a true beach, we have plenty of lakes. This is Boyd Lake, where I went camping a few weeks ago.

On the way to industrial Downtown Denver. This one is most significant to me because it completely contrasts everyone’s idea of ‘colorful colorado’ and instead signifies our growing population and blooming pollution issues.

They are great pictures, while I enjoy the nature shots the industrial picture spoke volumes. To add onto what Dessira suggested my town has community classes, you could look into that also
Beautiful pics and scenery. Check out the rule of thirds to add more interest in your photos (especially for horizons). Keep going strong!
