Have you ever tried to hide your tears or sweep them under the rug?
Thought-provoking illustrations by Israeli artist Yuval Robichek examine such situations precisely, if not in a real at least in a metaphorical sense. Having studied “Humor in Arts” at the School of Visual Arts, New York, Yuval creates illustrations for magazines, books, murals, fashion, and even TV projects.
With his illustrations, the artist takes an interesting angle from which to look at life, especially relationships. Some of his illustrations are relaxed and heart-warming depicting a couple engaged in a pillow fight inside a snowglobe. Others are more blunt with their romantic humor and candor pointing fingers at the romantic rituals practised nowadays. Not everything is about couples, though, you won't need to scroll a lot to meet a girl whose underskirts are made of popcorn or a guy with a coffee-stove-shaped body.
"I do my work from my intuition, I like dealing with relationships, for some people relationships is not easy, I try to look at it with a tiny smile." - the artist told Bored Panda.
