I’m a professional illustrator with a strong fondness for political, social, and human issues, having collaborated with several publications and companies across 18 countries and four continents.

I’m always producing new stuff, and after the success of last year’s post in Bored Panda, I’ve decided to show you another selection of my best works to show some of the problems afflicting the world.

“Who are the vital people to our society during the coronavirus pandemic?” “Is technology drawing us together or pulling us apart?” “Are hate speech and censorship prevailing on social media?” And many others. So what do you think about these issues? And what are your questions regarding the world nowadays? Let me know! Check out more on my Instagram linked below.

More info: Instagram

We are realizing more and more during the pandemic that the essential people keeping society together are not bankers or politicians, but healthcare professionals, food distributors, cleaners, etc. Sadly, when this is over, they will still be disregarded and underpaid.

I'd upvote this a million times if I could. Though domestic-violence does happen to men, it just happens more to women because there are idiots who like to take advantage of them.

The common misconception in the US is that the right to free speech includes the right to hate speech and inciting to violence, xenophobia, racism and homophobia.

Sad. I almost feel though that the one coiling up the line should be a monster of some sort. Because it's not a gentle or peaceful thing for many people.

This is so true. Fighting for a fairer world is a privilege not accessible to those who actually need a fairer world. The majority of nonprofits and NGO's have a mostly white and privileged staff, because we can afford unpaid internships to pad our resumes and can go with lower pays if it means working in accordance to our values.

@Diane Patrick, ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR BLASTED MIND? Less deadly than the flu, you say. It's not going to kill anyone, you say. Then how come America has the highest amounts of COVID-19 cases and deaths?! It's a miracle that some people actually believe your ridiculous nonsense.

For the record there's nothing wrong with taking medication for depression if you feel it's right for you.

Some people are against meds, saying it's unnatural or whatever. But I don't care. My meds could be a placebo, but I just know that I'm mentally so much better when I take them.

I call it "better living through psycho-pharmacology". It's taken a long time to find the right meds to keep me going.

I think this one could be saying that for people with depression, medication is sometimes the only support offered. Medication can be useful as part of the treatment for depression, but should be the only thing offered.

Yes. Depression is a thing that is helped by medication in many cases. It is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain that medication can help to correct. Now are you going to mock people who put casts on broken bones?

The point is that modern medicine does not focus on the real issues that led to depression in the first place. Lost job, low marks, unhoy marriage, legal cases, poverty etc. Why would anyone be depressed if the ills of our society are removed? The size of the tbket here simply indicates "over-dependence", which is wrong. It's okay to take medicine, but it's not ok to send dependent on it. Medicines provide relief but root cause can be mitigated by a caring, empathic and supportive society.

Depression can be exacerbated by external forces, yes, but it is primarily a chemical imbalance. So yes, if all of the ills of our society were removed, there would still be depressed people. Would you say that someone on chemo is "dependent" on it and that's wrong? No. If medication helps, then it is necessary for some people to stay alive. STOP with this narrative that being on antidepressants is somehow wrong.
