For the record there's nothing wrong with taking medication for depression if you feel it's right for you.
Some people are against meds, saying it's unnatural or whatever. But I don't care. My meds could be a placebo, but I just know that I'm mentally so much better when I take them.

I call it "better living through psycho-pharmacology". It's taken a long time to find the right meds to keep me going.
I think this one could be saying that for people with depression, medication is sometimes the only support offered. Medication can be useful as part of the treatment for depression, but should be the only thing offered.
Yes. Depression is a thing that is helped by medication in many cases. It is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain that medication can help to correct. Now are you going to mock people who put casts on broken bones?
I think pills can be just a lick of paint covering cracks caused my a serious underlying problem.
It should be darker, with maybe the light being the pharmaceutical. I know. But even some days this doesn't work.
Depression can be exacerbated by external forces, yes, but it is primarily a chemical imbalance. So yes, if all of the ills of our society were removed, there would still be depressed people. Would you say that someone on chemo is "dependent" on it and that's wrong? No. If medication helps, then it is necessary for some people to stay alive. STOP with this narrative that being on antidepressants is somehow wrong.

Society is not ready to be confronted with the truth. Maybe repost this in 20 years or so. I also find it interesting that people are looking to be offended and trying to find any grounds to be confrontational. If you need examples, look at the people getting offended because the CEO in one of the posts was a white man. That’s a statistical fact, but no, let’s get offended. Being offended a little is a good thing, that causes work for change, but really? I can’t say anything these days without people coming after me. Kinda annoying imo.

Personally I agree with some of the illustrations but not with all of them. What is wrong with #2 Invisible heroes? They are true heroes nowadays.
