For me, it's schoolwork that keeps me up all night. Sometimes it's because I've been loaded with homework and at-home-projects that I need to finish, and sometimes it's because I'm stressing out about school.

This is so true, some people literally live for the amount of likes they get on social media.

I hold parents to blame for a lot of this. I have seen kids playing games that were WAY TO OLD for them. Movies like 8mm where the dad let his 8 and 10 year old boys watch it and I didn't think I was old enough for it. Now I'm a parent and I am seeing 6-8 year olds watching PG13, and the kid is telling me I should let my daughter watch. Plan lazy parenting.

Isn't it about how accessible guns are in the home (and cause so many accidental deaths)?

I think something to really desensitizes kids is hearing people scream in agony on shows and movies and everyone just sits there watching (of course). But if we have any instinct it is to react to someone screaming or making sounds of pain. But we teach our kids and each other to simply sit and stare and not react. That's fine as an adult, but a four-year-old, even a 10-year-old should not be within earshot of any sounds of people being murdered or anything like that in the movies. Especially really young children, can their little brains really differentiate people screaming in agony in the next room based on if it's coming from a mouth or a speaker?

If you think video games cause violence, just remember, we used to burn people at the stake, and the public would watch. Humans are inherently violent, which is why we love contact sports (like football) it allows us to get out aggression. Taking away people's ability to protect themselves, won't stop the criminals.

I get so tired from this crazy idea that the world is a safer place, when every one has a gun to protect themselves. It makes no sense. To me it is as wise as anti-vaxxers and flat-earthers. But I guess it is what your parents told you from the day you were born.

Stupid how people care about money more than physical, living breathing things.

Unfortunately fresh produce in the USA is more pricey for those people on a budget than the cheap processed can of soup.

I used to draw and create some nice pictures, but my life now is my job (in finance) and I feel exactly like this, with a small difference - the colourful creative part of my brain is probably a tenth of the grey one. Yes, it pays the bills, but there is no joy and definitely not happiness :(

There is no compromise, these days. So sad how our world is crumbling right before our eyes because people don't stop and think about the harm we are doing to the place we live in.

My mind immediately tried to put the puzzle pieces together, being a person who loves puzzles.
