Social Media Insomnia
For me, it's schoolwork that keeps me up all night. Sometimes it's because I've been loaded with homework and at-home-projects that I need to finish, and sometimes it's because I'm stressing out about school.
Play
Global Warming
Quench Your Ego
Keyboard Wars
Desensitize
First World Fear
3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, 3 minutes without air, 3 seconds without battery....
Limited Stock
Stupid how people care about money more than physical, living breathing things.
I Am Fine
Consuming Time
This makes me feel guilty for having an egg McMuffin for breakfast.
Prescription Prevention
End Poverty
Repressed Creativity
I used to draw and create some nice pictures, but my life now is my job (in finance) and I feel exactly like this, with a small difference - the colourful creative part of my brain is probably a tenth of the grey one. Yes, it pays the bills, but there is no joy and definitely not happiness :(
Compromise
There is no compromise, these days. So sad how our world is crumbling right before our eyes because people don't stop and think about the harm we are doing to the place we live in.
Social Media Assassin

Compare To Despair
Puzzled
My mind immediately tried to put the puzzle pieces together, being a person who loves puzzles.
Okay, come on. Technology is not all that bad. Sure, people abuse it and may use it to harm other people but it has done more good than evil.
Exactly. I'm sick of this anti-technology trend. People promote their art using technology, while criticizing it? How hypocritical! Who's forcing you to use social networks? And don't start with "it's an addiction" argument!

Most modern technology has helped us and yes, some use it for bad reason, but thats to blame on those who use it in malice, not the technology itself.
Okay. Wonderful drawings and all, but this anti-technology thing is ridiculous. YES people may use tech to harm other people and YES it’s good to “well-rounded” and whatever and not spend all your time behind a screen, but technology is wonderful and has done so much good. Besides, we’re looking at this via technology, soooo... also, technology is so much more than just the internet and computers. Our world isn’t perfect — not even close — but would you really say it would be better without technology?
In 3500 years the world has experienced less than 280 years of actual peace without armed conflict. Massacres, famine, pestilence, pandemics, natural disasters, pollution, discrimination, crime and decadence have always been woven into the human condition. The ONLY difference between history, ancient history and today is the speed and efficiency with which information is disseminated. Today we merely hear about evil (and good) as it happens.
Good point, except for the last sentence. Crime and terrorism related news are, sadly, still pretty rampant. Also, wars are still happening too.

Use it for good, use it for sinister things, but try to never forget that technology will never take away our blank pages of our Destiny, figuratively speaking, we all possess the freshly sharpened pencils that measure our progression as The Human Collective, our individual decisions derived from 'Free Will', being the antagonizing catalyst, creating the Future and the resonating ripple effects that occurs much more often than people like to admit
Good stuff. Very thoughtful. You forgot something about how much time we waste on Bored Panda.
Tech isn't just social media, it's also the light that powers your house. It's music that keeps you going through the day. It's things that if they didn't exist, your world would be so different. Stop with the anti-tech movement. It's not technology that is bad, it's social media and how much people choose to be addicted to it.
Technology is also x-ray and delicate surgery equipment doctors use to save lives and discover life threatening anomalies that are effectively cured thanks to these particular devices.
