My name is Cally and I’m a children’s book illustrator based on the beautiful Northumberland coast. I’ve been working in children’s publishing for many years, it truly is a dream job. When I’m not illustrating books I enjoy walking on the beach with my dog (who regularly features in my work!), playing the ukulele at folk nights and I especially enjoy practicing yoga.
I designed my own little yoga girl and started a sketchbook of poses and positive messages to keep me feeling inspired and content after losing a very close member of my family. I now enjoy regularly posting pictures of her on my Instagram page. If others like her too then that’s a lovely bonus. It feels nice knowing that I might be able to spread thoughts of happiness, self-care and joy of life!

Honestly, Tia, what is the point of all these negative comments? What are you trying to accomplish? The only logical thing that I can think of is that you want some sort of recognition from us (other viewers) to validate how your feeling and you think you can't stop but you really can. It's a sign of immense immaturity to post this kind of thing on someone's inspiration page when you know everyone reading this page is here to feel a little better about themselves or just feel better about life in general. The page is literally titled "Positive Messages To Remind Myself Of Self-Love And Self-Care" and you are just foaming at the mouth begging for attention. Dude, just stop. Please. So everyone else here can enjoy seeing the posts we came here to see, not some stupid comments about why everything this grieving human stands for is wrong.

For anyone wondering: Tia has -179 points last time I checked. I think as a group, we succeeded in reaching our end goal: make the hateful people of the world reflect on their own actions. This thread not only made me realize the importance of self-love and taking time to make yourself happy, but it also made me realize that some people just don't want to be happy.
