Though there are many cats on the internet, there are a few as memorable and impactful as Grumpy Cat, the internet phenomenon who dominated the internet with her hilarious disdain in 2012 and onwards. Sadly, the cat left us in May of 2019, and she was mourned not only by her family, but seemingly the whole internet.

To cherish her not-so-bright-but-more-of-a-pessimistic memory, here's a post about her being illustrated as one of the characters of famous Disney movies. What does the positive Disney have to do with the negative Grumpy Cat? Seemingly not much, but it turns out they go perfectly together like salt and pepper or yin and yang. Grumpy Cat was so powerful as a personality that she could've changed the course of the usually very positive Disney movies in an instant, and these drawings by Tsaoshin (Eric Proctor) illustrate it perfectly.

Most have seen Grumpy Cat, but not that many know about her. Tardar Sauce, A.K.A. Grumpy Cat, only lived for 7 years from 2012 to 2019. She was born in a litter of four kittens to a calico mother and a blue-and-white tabby father. Her face appeared grumpy because she had a feline form of dwarfism. Though the mother and the father were normal-sized short-hairs, Tardar was undersized and had quirky hind legs. She had a brother Pokey, who also had unique features just like her.

Despite her appearance, she behaved like a normal cat would. Or she did, until she surged to internet fame when Bryan Bundesen, the brother of the owner, posted a picture of her on Reddit in September of 2012. Tons of people started creating parodies of her and she became an internet phenom known as Grumpy Cat. General grumpiness, pessimism and negativity became inseparably associated with Tardar Sauce.

The fame completely transformed not only the lives of those who lul'd at the funny meme, but also her owners. Ben Lashes, famous for managing memes like Keyboard Cat and Nyan Cat, started representing her. Tabitha Bundesen left her job at Red Lobster to manage Grumpy Cat's schedule, while her Brother Bryan Bundesen managed Grumpy Cat's website, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts.

She also made a lot of media appearances in TV shows, commercials, expos, and other forms of media during her heyday. It's safe to say that she won't be forgotten anytime soon, and today's post adds to the memory of the famous Grumpy Cat.

As for the talented author, we have to give kudos for his work. It's not the first time that his works have been featured here on Bored Panda. He has made illustrations of Disney princesses and Eevee the Pokemon's evolutions. I know, it doesn't sound very typical, but the counterparts have tons of similarities you might have not thought of, so you have to check it out if you haven't. As always, if you like the artist's work, follow them on their social media to support them!
