Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily routines and day-to-day lives that we forget to notice the small things and natural beauty that surrounds us. We tend to forget how magical it can be and that it's the best place to escape to when life is hard as it gives us peace of mind. Luckily, from time to time, various artists remind us of its magic and beauty, and this artist does it perfectly with his stunning pictures!
Martijn Schrijver is a 40-year-old digital artist from Amsterdam, the Netherlands who finds his peace of mind and inspiration in the beauty of nature. He creates surreal photo manipulations that combine wildlife with beautiful landscapes of nature. His amazing photos show how glorious and majestic nature can be and that we shouldn't take it for granted. From giant rhinos forming a stunning rock to an elephant spraying water like a waterfall, Martijn invites us to step inside his magical world inspired by the beauty of nature.
"My creative ideas come from nature and I like to create various surreal and humorous photo manipulations, like incorporating wild animals into landscapes. I love to see nature photos and come up with surreal ideas and make it "real" with photo editing" - says the artist about his unique artworks.

Sadly these kinds of pics may be the only way future generations see these beautiful animals - this one sends a really poignant message about that
Wedgie: "an uncomfortable tightening of the underpants between the buttocks, typically produced when someone pulls the underpants up from the back as a prank."
I feel like he's about to wake up & shake off the pesky humans on his head
Reminds me of one of those trippy black-light posters people would hang in their first apartment.
"it's really stuck in there hey - can you see it? Right at the very back..."
Very creative. I love it, especially all the beautiful cheerful colors (I have the flu so I needed something to cheer me up). It's just October and I already feel ready for a summer vacation (except for the flu that makes me want to stay forever in bed)
TBH, that's a mood, and I'm not even sick lmfao
Love these! I thought I had a favorite, but nope, they are all my favs!
Most of these are very creative and well done. The surrealistic aspects is cool and some could have interesting and important messages if you wished to read it. Some aren't quite as good or has elements that doesn't seem to mesh as well, but overall it's an nicely done post.
