Some clever folks have found a brilliant way to spoil their pet cat. People are repurposing a simple yet popular doll bed from IKEA, turning it into an adorable throne for their pets. Maybe felines aren't only interested in boxes after all?

Officially, the $14.99 Duktig is "a doll bed with bedlinen set," but the small wooden piece has become IKEA's leader in the pet furniture market. A lot of it is probably due to the design; the slot at either end of the bed is an excellent feature for cat beds. It lets them stick their tails out if they want to relax. And some crafty owners are even turning them into bunk beds.

Check the adorable cats enjoying their tiny furniture in the list below. What do you, and most importantly your cat, think of these creative ideas?

This is cool! I'll have to ask my boyfriend of we can attach 6 kitty beds to the wall! They'd love it!

that is really smart. My cat is always on top of the fridge, and he can jump so high he doesn't even need to use the counter for help. I could probably do something like this and put it next to the ceiling! :D

I LOVE this idea!!! Cats love to climb and jump so this is not just a nice way to provide beds (not the human bed) but also an environmental enrichment to encourage exercise :) win/win

I think they'd like them even better with 4-inch or so sides on them. Like they love cardboard boxes so they can exert some pressure on the sides and not be subconsciously aware of maybe falling off. Just an idea.

I hope they're screwed into studs. Cats can exert a surprising amount of force when they jump and land. A great idea, if done right, though.

There were six in the bed, and the little one said, roll over, roll over. So they all rolled over and one fell out, there were five in the bed, and the little one said, roll over, roll over.....etc.

Cat: You can have the bottom bunk. Pug: Why? Cat: So if the bed breaks, you can break my fall.
