I Wrote, Illustrated And Animated A Motion Book For Kids

“What bugs Waldemar the dachshund?” is a story for children written and illustrated by me, Maja Wrońska, and read by Buzz Blackburn.

It’s a story about the dog that tries to find out what disturbs his nap. The illustrations were painted with watercolors, and then animated in Adobe Photoshop. The story is published in the form of a motion book made in the Madefire App and available on the App Store, Google Play and Windows 10.

It is a unique form of publication that allows the sale of an animated children’s book. We can read the book by ourselves or listen to the professional voice over reading it. The book is available in Polish and English languages.

I’m an architect, watercolorist and freelance illustrator from Poland. I create mostly watercolors that focus on architecture and cities. Among others my works were exhibited at Biennale of Architecture in Venice, on the set of several TV shows. I’m also an author of Gronby motif for IKEA.
