Toronto Artist Uses Only Glitter And Glue, To Make These Unique Dazzling Artworks!
I’m an Emerging Toronto Artist under the name ‘FotoFlares’ (but you can call me Alex).
I’ve spent 100s of hours making this sparkly creations out of only colored glitter and clear glue! I love making custom artworks for fans and take orders internationally. These one-of-a kinda creations are definitely a statement piece for a unique room..I can create anything from realistic portraits, to comic book characters!

“Winnie Harlow” – 24″x30″
This one is hard to believe its ONLY GLITTER sometimes. I created this piece based on a photo of Vitiligo spokesmodel and international SUPER MODEL (based in Toronto, and featured on America’s Next Top Model) – WINNIE HARLOW. She is redefining beauty standards around the world, and very much deserved to be shown sparkling!
Winnie aka Chantelle Winnie is also an amazing supporter of artists via her Instagram page constantly re-posting fan art. I had another piece I created of her shared there to her following of 1million+ ! Check out her page: @winnieharlow

“Breakfast At Tiffany’s” – Jeffree Star & Audrey Hepburn – 11″x14″(approx)
Here at 2 cool pieces side by side..what do they have in common? “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” ! – The first is feat. celebrity beauty legend Jeffree Star, in a promo shot from his latest Velour Liquid Lipstick line shade release called …you guessed it!
And then of course, paired with non other than Audrey Hepburn. Both pieces are done on wood panel..Audrey’s is laser cut design as you can see!

“Emerald Eyes” 24″x30″
This piece was intense to make… its a whopping 24×36 inches which is A LOT of glitter!
it made its first public appearance at Daniel Anaka’s REversion, portait exhibit hosted at Super Wonder Gallery in Toronto. Then again here, pictured at the Sing-A-Smile Christmas market in Richmond hill a fundraiser to support ‘Paint-A-Smile’ organization that provides art workshops to kids living in difficult circumstances.

Graduation Cap – 10″x10″
My first international commission! Lovely Kimberly asked me to create a glittered graduation cap to wear at her ceremony. Decorated caps are more popular in the US than in Canada where I am, so I was really honored to be part of this project! The design was down by a friends of hers and sent to me along with the CAP to glitter! She sent me pics of her wearing it which I have posted on my FB page, they look awesome!
