I was outside the school, hanging out with my friends before our first class. Suddenly, we heard the lady from the front office over our school’s intercom: ‘Lockdown immediately, lockdown immediately!’ We understood that something bad was happening. So, I rushed into my first class and everything went silent. No one knew what was going on, even our teacher. And I think that was the scariest part. The entire atmosphere in the class was just confusion and terror.

Share on FacebookGun control. In Sweden, we've had one school shooting, but that was in 1961. And we are a land of hunters, lots of guns. Unfortunately, in recent years there have been shootings, but always gang-related. Illegal. When it happens, it's news.
Illegal guns are much harder to get hold of. In the states you can pick one up in with the eggs and milk. Bullied teen has access to his parents semi automatic(s) what could possibly go wrong? Mass shootings on daily basis happen because people can pick up combat grade weapons without checks at gunshows, and what's worse is that enough of Americans are ok with this, that the laws don't change that would make this happen less frequently. The fact that share prices for gun manufacturers jump when there's a huge "newsworthy" shooting is just plain 4ucked up

According to Americans, those kids from parkland who protest gun accessibility are cowards who should get over it. Just consider where we are as a society that we get angry at people who are angry about their friends being gunned down at school.
Such a sad day for all involved. Too bad the authorities don't crack down more on bullies, because that is usually what triggers these events.
I'm with you on that one. Schools tend to be way too tolerant about bullying. A bullied kid could gain access to a gun from a relative. That may well be what happened here.
