My name is Amy Luck, owner of Amy's Artistic Expressions in Seattle Washington. I love coming up with unique, one-of-a-kind custom belly paintings that help reflect the mom-to-be and her family.
Each painting takes up to 4 hours to create (potentially more) depending on the level of detail, and the amount of breaks needed to accommodate the mom-to-be's comfort (which always comes first!). This, after spending an additional 2-8 hours (depending on the project) interacting with the family, creating a special design, working out potential challenges ahead of time, and ordering specialty supplies (when needed, as in the case of the"Alien Mother Goddess" body paint).
The intention is that the mom-to-be feels special, and memories can be captured to pass on through the generations - preferably in the form of professional quality photographs. I am happy to help connect potential clients with a photographer who can come and do a professional photo shoot with just you, you and your family, or as part of a baby shower after your painting is complete. You don't have to be a professional model to look great!
