I got my first iPhone in 2010 as a birthday present from my husband, downloaded Instagram and a few editing apps, and haven’t put my phone down since. I have always made art in some form, mainly painting, but the iPhone has given me the creative freedom to do things I’ve never done before.
My kids, Gabe and Pippin, are usually the subjects of my images which make them very personal. I like to tell a story, reminiscent of fairy tales, with both light and darkness present. I share these images on my Instagram channel to over 500,000 people every day.
The iPhone and editing apps available are powerful creative tools. I love that I can shoot and edit on something that is always with me. Some of my favorite apps are Filterstorm, Snapseed, Mextures, and Juxtaposer.

Don’t wake me when I’m dreaming
Down the rabbit hole
You make me feel like I’m on top of the world
Find your light and shine!
A talk with the flowers
Me and the moon
Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?
The winds are changing, I can feel it in my bones
There’s a light that never goes out
Dreamer
The treehugger
Flower fields
Curiouser and curiouser!

Load More Replies...I do think that these works are creative. It doesn't matter what kind of app or effect you use. The art is what you create and HOW you create. Don't listen those who says these aren't creative works. These pictures are definitely creative and beautiful pieces. Thank you
Doesn't matter how or what it was done with, it's the end result that matters. Nice work
Just wondering what apps you've used so me and my students can maximize our iPads and iPhones? Thanks in advance ^_^
She listed them in her description of her art. At the bottom

Hi there. If I wanted to use an image for an advert for a local fete would this be ok?
Oh, my! These images utterly captivated me. I loved them all but especially, "the winds are changing, I can feel it in my bones", Dreamer, Me and the Moon, There's a light that never goes out, find your light and shine, and don't wake me when I'm dreaming. Inspirational and sublime. Thank you for sharing Ali.
beautiful. There must be a lot of preperation and thought put into each picture before it is actually shot.
These photos are amazing and creative! I am so impressed. What app do you use to create them?
Not to be 2 critical (there are some nice pics), but I do wonder how much of this is actually creative and how much is using the apps presets filters and effects.
I loved the simple ones. The heavily edited ones with too much sparkle are so... Uhm... Exaggerated? But I loved the creativity. Less is more.
Maybe I'll consult you next time before I do anything creative so you can help me out.
