The idea is that these 29 portraits of cats in wigs were found in the basement at Versailles, drawn long ago by one of Marie Antoinette’s portraitists. The coloring book is called “Marie Catoinette: A Cautionary Tale of Excess”.
All of the cats have fantastical wigs: bird cages, ships, buildings, even a standing roast!
The coloring book follows my photography/humor book called “Glamourpuss: The Enchanting World of Kitty Wigs”. I think my friend Paul Labadie totally nailed the illustrations.
The coloring book has 29 images, 66 pages, is 8.5 x 11″ and is available on Amazon and at KittyWigs.com
