I’m posting this as a reminder (in case anyone still needs it) of how far women have progressed since this article appeared in 1955. Of course, there are many men out there who’d like to return to those bad old days — the current White House resident is one of them. (I just hope the text is readable; this is my first BoredPanda post.)

Share on FacebookWow. This is kind of terrifying. I'm all for being kind and helpful to other people (including one's spouse). But kind and smiling servile doormat are two different things! If a man (or anyone for that matter) wants a maid, then let him hire one! A wife and maid are not the same, I think. :-)
