I Found A Teddy Bear At The Beach And Decided To Give It A New Life
Last February, I was walking on the beach with my husband, when I found a teddy bear amongst garbage brought ashore by the sea. It had probably belonged to some child once and now that it was lost, it was just another piece of garbage. And it was in my power to change that! I wanted to make it special, to give it another life so, in spite of it being dirty and damaged, I thought that I could do something with it.
Then I brought him home, called him Sammy and started a photographic project, telling the adventures of his new life with his new human adult.
Sammy is a small teddy bear, used to live in a children’s world where everything is smaller than in adult’s world. Now his new human is an adult and everything in his new world is really big for him. At first he was injured and trying to find out more about teddy bears as a species, but as the time goes by, Sammy really becomes a part of this new world and starts to have his own activities, besides being part of his human daily life.
It has been almost two months since that, and Sammy has yet a lot of adventures to live.
