I found an amazing illustrated poster about Palestine made by Franz Kraus, “Visit Palestine” from 1936, and I tough myself : why not do some other ones, same style, but with some "actual and accurate" subjects : pollution, migration, war, etc.

Here is the result but the project is still on going. Wich city will be next?

The orang-outan should be shown burning because that's what happens, they are burned alive, you can see them run out of the forest with their fur on fire, sometimes holding their little one also burning alive.

Seriously people they kill to eat the meat rubbish they hid behind the tradition card. This is nothing more than brutal murder and torture of innocent family pods swimming innocently by. Anyone who has witnessed the footage of the pilot whale killings and are not sickened by what they have seen are as sick as they are Children playing with unborn foetuses, calves fully formed thrown into garbage bins this is nothing more than criminal Children watching and taking part this is surely child abuse we protect our children from the horrors of the world not involve them The supermarkets are full they are not short of alternate food whT happens if there Re no grinds do they not eat Leave the whales alone they do not belong to the Faroes????

I have shopped in a few of their many grocery stores. There is plenty to eat. Veggies, tofu, bread, pastas and even gummy bears. There is a Burger King as well. This is a blood sport for toxic meat. Go to YouTube and type in Grind Faroe Islands.

Obviously, Sarah is a troll. How do you depend this atrocity? How do you defend killing animals by the hundreds, with your children participating? How, please do tell. I can't 'unsee' all those photos from that God forsaken rock ....

Anyone who visits the Faroe Islands is supporting the violent brutal slaughter of hundreds of Beautiful Pilot Whales. This is a barbaric horrific death. It is a complete blood bath by the hands of Barbaric Murder. Google the Grind year after year this continues. Do not let the beauty of the Island fool you. This is HELL ON EARTH.

Pilot Whales are members of the dolphin family, one of only four species (dolphin, apes, elephants, humans) who are self-aware and autonomous with highly complex family and social associations. Since science has differentiated these species from farm and domestic animals, much of the civilized world has stopped eating dolphins, much less killing them for sport. The Faroese argue they are feeding families and preserving tradition yet the meat is subsided rather than eaten and their use of the Danish navy in murdering dolphins dates this ‘tradition’ back no further than the motorized naval vessel. Clearly, these barbarians are there because they love to kill. Nothing more. Civilizations throughout time have abandoned sadistic, ritualistic traditions such as sacrificing virgins to sun gods in recognition of contemporary science, yet three countries refuse to join the 21st century and stop their sick medieval murder of dolphin: Japan, Norway and (with help from Denmark) the Faroe Isl

Such a evil place. Whale slaughter is illegal in the EU, but the whaler from the Faroes kill thousands of those innocent helpless animals every year. Without any grace they slaughter even mothers and their calves. Many of the corpses rot in the sea. It is the pure lust to kill.

I cannot visit a place that haplessly murderrs many pods of pilot whales in the most horrific and barbaric of ways . The beauty of the Faroes will be tarnished as long as this so called 'tradition!' Is allowed to continue.

It shows the dark side perfectly of those islands. Year by year dieing between 800 - 1000 protected pilotwhales and also white-side dolphins there in the name of tradition. Even after the Chief Medical Officer in the Faroe Islands declared in 2008 that "pilot whale is no longer used for human consumption." because it is toxicated. Mercury poisoning has been found among Islanders resulting in “damage to fetal neural development, high blood pressure, and impaired immunity in children, as well as increased rates of Parkinson’s disease, circulatory problems and possibly infertility in adults”. Why they still claim it is for food? 1. Because their government failed and even suggested max 1 meal in a month. 1 meal is a delicacy but not FOOD. 2. They don´t wanne drop that bloody killing and their tradition. These whales supper extremely when they die and its not being done just in some seconds. "The red of the water compared to the green of the grass. Beautiful to watch". words of a faroese.

Maybe Monk could have done some research on this one. Pollution and the industrialized fishing kill far more than they do in the Faroes, who do actually live on waht they kill in islands where there is not much else toeat.

Look up their GNP. These sentient beings are slaughtered as a "tradition" for the barbaric and unevolved. Does not have a damn thing to do with a need for food. It's called the Grindarap. It is purely senseless! Yes. The Oceans are in distress. But stupid traditions like this only add to the problem.

I see all the comments that say anything else besides the Faroes are a horrible place get voted down it doesn't surprise me at all. You people disgust me. never want to listen to anything else besides the same things you have been told and cannot stand any other point of view. I will go to the Faroes and I will enjoy it.

I do abhor this particular practice of delighting in animal slaughter but some of the comments are a bit surreal. Are all of the commenters vegetarians??? Don't they know what is going on in our 'meat factories' and slaughterhouses. The whale had a nice life, at least, unlike a regular pig that has never known any joy or peace whatsoever and is brutally slaughtered after an even more brutal, short life.

I have no real problem with killing and eating whales (if they are not on the list of endangered species). Unless you are a vegetarian it is a bit hypocritical to complain about the brutal slaughter of animals, and least the whales are not shipped across Europe in the punishing heat without rest or water. But that families and children cheer on as living creatures are slaughtered brutally and painfully is simply not acceptable, today. Makes me wonder if they also hold children's birthday parties in slaughterhouses, with sing-alongs as the pigs are squealing in terror.

Just more propaganda. They don't kill whales for fun they kill them so they can eat. it is not easy to grow vegtables there and importing food would cause more damage to the whales and other sea creatures. Vote this comment down all you want i don't care it just shows what kind of people you are.

Their own medical doctors tell the citizens there NOT to eat the meat because it is toxic. Their grocery stores are FILLED with vegetables and everything you'd find in a US grocery store. This country has a very high standard of living. This culture does NOT need to murder whales to "survive." It is a cruel bloodsport, period. They even bring in little boys to murder the whales, while the women and little girls stand around cheering as if this is a football game.

Yeah, yeah, Ken, whatever... "They eat all the whale" : this is probably why untouched corpses of whales were found by divers. Their own doctors say the meat is unsafe for consumption due to the high level of PCB, mercury and toxins in it. "Plus they are very good about keeping an eye on the whale population." Which population ? Because for now the pilot whale population is UNKNOWN - last estimate is from 1989!!!! And pilot whales are not exactly a pest in the ocean, they are a vital part of the ecosystem, they are not the type of species you need to keep population under control. Our pollution is already a threat to their existence, why add on top the most unsustainable method of hunting - removing an entire pod, a bit like cutting an apple tree to get the apples? And all that in the name of tradition ? "People need to research and get all the facts before they make ill informed statements." Please apply this sentence to yourself.

These are not meant to be comical or place blame. It's to raise awareness of the reality of these places. It's genius.
