Generative art is created using an algorithm with a set of rules which, when run, output a resulting art piece. The piece is randomly built using the constraints. By nature it’s unpredictable, the output can be hideous and it can be gorgeous.
I love digital art, but sometimes I find it lacks a physical medium. I wanted to bring my art into the real world so I made t-shirts – that are randomly generated.

Random output from the algorithm
Colors, shapes, shadows, gradients are randomized.
Randomly generated shirts from the store
1/100,000,000,000 chance
The algorithm has over 100 billion possible outputs. This makes every shirt unique.

Building an online store from scratch takes hours and hours. I coded it using Javascript, React, Redux, Printful, MongoDB, Stripe, Node.js, Sendgrid, & Love. I hosted it using Heroku, and used MongoDB Atlas to host the database.
Thanks so much for checking out my project. Stay tuned – many more to come. Please leave a comment and share with your friends :D
