This Instagrammer Captures The Tiny Beauty Of Hummingbirds In Her Backyard
California based, but Minnesota born, singer Tracy Johnson has a secret. Not only is she an accomplished musician, but hummingbirds find her irresistible. How many times has this adorable small bird landed on your hands? The same number of times that you’ve won the lottery? Thought so. But whether it’s her siren song, or the bird feeder in her hands, something about Johnson makes the colorful birds unable to stay away.
“Hummingbirds are difficult animal photography subjects,” Johnson told Bored Panda. “So the best tip I can give is to learn to be patient. Get a zoom lens 70-300mm and hang out where you’ve seen these beautiful birds land in your yard. Hummingbirds are creatures of habit: they prefer particular perches. If you watch carefully you will find their favorite perches. And that’s where you should sit, close to those. Prepare to spend a lot of time just sitting and waiting. The birds will need time to get used to you. Even now, I imagine my birds roll their eyes when they see me coming.”

I LOVE Hummingbirds!!!! I had one fly up to my face, stay for a few seconds and fly away. They are so beautiful and I find them mystical messages from God.

I also love hummers, I have several feeders , one of them outside my bedroom door and if I run out of food they come and knock on the window with their little beaks and wait until I fill it .
