I lived in a place where some pubs had outdoor settings with kiwi plants growing all around and on bar overhead. Once an overripe kiwi just splashed on my table and into my beer :D.

A kiwi is a small flightless bird, native to New Zealand. The fruit is called kiwifruit, one word, like grapefruit. 🇳🇿

Saw this at a restaurant in Portugal. You had to walk through a tunnel of kiwis to reach it

We have miniature ones in our garden. (in northern Germany!!) Everything about this plant looks fantastic: the leaves, the flowers. And edible fruit (although a bummer to peel, since they are about as large as gooseberries.

we definitely don't grow on trees , the people or the bird ha haa. Kiwifruit is the real name. Used to be known as Chinese Gooseberries
