Someone Asks How To Explain 2020 To Someone In 2010 And This Person Gives Such A Knockdown Summary, It’s Crazy That We’re Living In These Times
Reality is one heck of a tough nut to crack. Things look different from perspective and time is relative. No wonder Elon Musk is convinced we’re all living in a simulation.
So imagine what glitch in the matrix happened when someone was asked to explain 2020 to someone from 2010. The redditor u/MasterRoshi spilled it all black on white in a surreal synopsis. I mean, so real it kinda sounds unreal. When put into the light, our lives sound like a twisted plot from a Kubrick movie. And I mean, who are we to judge when “the only person keeping us from starting a huge riot is a gun-toting Oklahoma man with meth addiction and 180 tigers”? Let’s dive into this bizarre moment of truth down below!

We’re only four months into 2020, but it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna be an easy year. And now that we live amid the current global crisis, one can’t help but wonder whether anyone had seen it coming.
Surprisingly or not, two years ago, the World Health Organization warned about a list of pathogens that needed urgent scientific research. The viruses had no known treatments or vaccines, and all had the potential to trigger pandemics that could kill thousands. One particular virus was named Disease X. It referred to “a serious international epidemic caused by a pathogen currently unknown.”
In 2018, Bill Gates also recommended taking relevant steps to prevent a future global pandemic like the current one. “Given the continual emergence of new pathogens, the increasing risk of a bioterror attack, and how connected our world is through air travel, there is a significant probability of a large and lethal modern-day pandemic occurring in our lifetimes,” said Gates.
This is how people reacted
I can assure the writer of that c**p that outside the USA, the vast majority of people didn't give a f**k about rapist Kobe Bryant's death.
I am inside the US & could not care any less about his death. He. Was. Not. A. Good. Person.
Load More Replies...They forgot to mention the African locust invasion. It's of biblical proportions and could make its way west. no one seems to be talking about it though.
I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for taking the time to write about it, untill I googe it (because of your comment) I hadn't see anything on the news
Load More Replies...How about the vast majority of people react appropriately to an unfortunately dangerous pandemic. Government's struggled and were admittedly unprepared for a situation they were warned about by scientists but they did react reasonably swift. (Compare this to China under Mao which hid mass starvation or the British Government ignoring the Irish Potato famine). There was a small amount of craziness as people hoarding paper products, fortunately, there was no shortage of food (things returned to normal about a month later). Finally, people took distraction in a television show about the antics of a colorful but, admittedly dysfunctional animal trainer.
Need to add: "Putin is *still* the ruler of Russia, and helped get Trump elected in the US. Britain has left the European Union. We *still* haven't cured AIDS, but the Chinese have produced genetically-engineered humans who are immune to it. Gas price is $1.50. "
Can we stop with the "eating a bat" thing? It's racist and untrue. Examination of the COVID-19 genome suggests that the virus may have been around in humans for a long time before it evolved into the form that caused the pandemic. It may not have jumped from a non-human animal at all.
It's definitely a Chinese Virus, or maybe in future known as Chinese Influenza. Let's see then.

But first Tschernobyl burns down. And also the (already mentioned above by cc) african locust plague (A swarm of just more than a third of a square mile can eat the same amount of food in one day as 35,000 people). The asteroid must reschedule for may or june...

It did start out by being that COVID-19 came from a food market in Wuhan (I don't know about the bat thing). However, governments tend to hide the actual truth about stuff like this and there are a lot of conspiracies going around that this may have been purposely done or a virus accidentally came out of a lab, etc. etc. In the end, no one will know the actual truth because there is just so much chaos in information on the internet and the dishonesty in the media and government that it is next to impossible to know exactly what happened.

I forgot it was this year that Kobe died because we were in a restaurant watching sports! That seems so long ago. But there were 112 days in March.
lol this was written 11 months ago... a lot of things have happened since

R.E.M had it right. "It's the end of the world as we know it...and I feel fine."
Ryan George does this better on YouTube with his time traveler sketches. I really recommend watching!
It's a popular conspiracy theory, that he was friends with the Epstein fellow who died.

Is anyone going to be surprised if something else goes drastically, disasterously, wrong.
