I often have Huntsmen in my bedroom. I just leave them be - they take acre of smaller spiders and mozzies.....an all you can eat buffet for them!

Back when I was at boarding school, I must have been 15 or 16: I was taking a shower when I heard a scream coming from the next shower. I put on my bathrobe and went to see what was happening, and there I saw a girl pointing out a small spider at the bottom of the shower. I looked at the girl, then the spider, grabbed the showerhead to flush the spider out, and then went back into my shower, all without saying a word. xD (Zen master of chill ^^)

I kept thinking, which kind? Black widow - squish, little brown jumping spider - setting that lil' fella outside in a nice place, brown recluse - crush till a fine mush and make sure there are no others ... I like spiders, just don't want them hurting my grandbaby.

I'm arachnophobic... Most of those answers applied. Freak out, not sleep in that room for two days (done, after a massive one found in my bedroom a few years ago), but as I live alone I have no choice but to destroy/dispose of them while being freaked out by them. Worse to have them still alive and not knowing where they are in the room.

Oh I dunno lol,I used to own tarantulas 100 off they don’t bother me , n I’d love a huntsman spider as a houseguest they don’t bite ,n live happily with us ,no issue , however a black widow spider would have me calmly n CAREFULLY catching it in a glass lol n taking it outside , no welcome them NOPE, do have wolf spiders in uk that BITE ! one got me over night two weeks ago on my eyelid result very swollen eye on right fully closed , just as it was going down , I got bitten again on left eye like w*f dude , I was taking antihistamines then , ( which do not go well with tramadol n morphine I’m on to walk daily interesting ) n yup I had words with the bloody thing when I saw it , no idea where it’s gone , ,but that made three times it bit me in the night first was on arm , wow did that hurt pfft ,
